Unless my scar dramatically fades some more . In that case, I’ll show you.
I’m 100% happy. I don’t notice my scar at all and I don’t think other people do either. I still have new hairs growing through my scar constantly, so the new growth is still happening. I did not lose any hair in this process.
I wear my hair in so many ways that I wouldn’t have even dared to before. It’s just a physical change and physical changes can only make you so happy but I will say this procedure has helped me start to heal some wounds that years of bullying left me. It’s helped my confidence, which has helped me face a lot of things I wasn’t before. So while it may be physical, it’s definitely changed many other things for me.
Would 100% recommend, just do your research realllllyyy well and make sure you aren’t looking for something quick. This has been a year of healing, from a numb head for months, to a scar that’s still fading and hair still growing. The top of my head still feels weird when I touch it occasionally. So if you aren’t prepared to take care of yourself and be patient then this may not be for you.
Any questions feel free to ask!
Jess

1 Year Post-Op
Hi All,
It’ll be one year post op on Saturday so I thought I would check in.
I’m 100% happy with my results and this surgery has changed my life for the better in many ways.
As for recovery, I’ve had full feeling back in my scalp for like 6 months at this point and considering how massive the scar is, it’s not super noticeable. Occasionally, when I meet new people they may notice (I work with children so if they notice, they tell you ) but most people don’t seem to and I forget it’s there 99% of the time. I did not have any hair loss (including shock loss) and I had baby hair grow through my scar within the first few months. I will, on rare occasions, get like an ingrown hair in the scar but nothing bothersome.
I sometimes wish I would have asked for a more rounded hairline so my widows peak is even less obvious but that’s on me for not communicating it and it probably wouldn’t have looked so naturally done if we had rounded it out more. Definitely something I think about however.
Overall I am so happy and my confidence has grown tenfold in the last year.

5ish months update
Hi all!
Everything is going really well, I can feel the top of my head again and my scar seems to be fading well. I have a solid amount of baby hairs, which is why I haven’t gone back for another laser treatment yet. I’m afraid to burn the babies off, even though they’ll grow back.
I’m really really happy with my results, seriously one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. My confidence has grown so much and I no longer think about my forehead for 50% of every day. I do wish my widows peak did pop down a little lower but the baby hairs that are growing in and covering it anyway.

You look amazing!! That scar is hardly noticeable. Certainly for someone that didn't know they'd never see it! How is your chin? I have the same two issues, forehead and chin.. also nose ... ok maybe everything lol
This is months delayed but my chin is great, can't even notice the scar. It was one of the best decisions I've ever made.
It's great to hear how much your confidence has increased!
What was the laser treatment for?
To help diminish the appearance of the scar.
Hello I want to get the same procedures as you. Hairline lowering and double chin removed. Is that the price you paid for both or just the hairline lowering? My large forhead always bothers me and I hate my profile a lot with my double chin.. -_-"
I believe I paid close to $12000 Canadian for both procedures. It was something I'd beat myself up about on the daily and really impacted how I lived my life and now it's all changed for the better, so I would say it's worth it.
