Everything I Had Hoped For and More

I love Wilmington Plastic Surgery and trust Dr. White implicitly. I first consulted with him two years ago after much searching for lower eyelid surgery, for head lift, and breast augmentation. I explained my vision of a restorative process to counteract aging and poor lifestyle choices, and he was very honest in setting my expectations appropriately. I appreciated his alignment to my vision and also keeping me on track once I seriously began researching options that would fit my goals.

I also appreciate his candor in terms of looking for more wholistic approaches with lifestyle modifications and less invasive options to achieve some of my goals. He is a very down to earth person with good sensibilities that increase my trust in his judgement. He is both a doctor and an artist and that translates very well into his craft. While a very competent person, he listens to the patient and partners with them in lieu of taking a more authoritative or condescending approach than some successful medical professionals can adopt.

My recovery was minimal in terms of no unexpected issues and ease of healing. For reference, I am a 43 yo female with no prior health issues other than a past 17 year run with alcoholism that is six years in remission. I am 5’2 and 110lbs. I take no medications regularly, exercise daily, cook with whole ingredients at home, and do my best to maintain a regular sleep schedule. Most people age me for mid-twenties and the work I had Dr. White do was to refine and maintain what I had. I had very little down time, and did not miss any work due to the procedures though I am a software engineer who works remotely out of a home office so I didn’t have to leave the house.

I have had two surgeries with Dr. White - a breast augmentation and a forehead life with lower eyelid surgery. The procedures were fully explained, along with why the specific techniques were chosen for my situation, and both pre and post operative instructions given in detail. There were no surprises, and both Dr. White and his staff are readily accessible throughout the process. I cannot recommend his services highly enough if the goal is to countermand aging. Both Dr.White and his staff are passionate about what they do and they do it very well with great compassion and professionalism. The entire process was very comfortable and I couldn’t be happier with the results. My only regret is that he may be retired when I need refinements in my fifties, but am hoping he is still an option.
