I just had my 8 week post op appointment with Dr M. And it went well. He was really nice and took time to address all my questions. I still have some pain and concern with scar tissue but overall he thinks they look good and are healing well. Right is still higher than left and I feel like the implants are too far apart on my chest ... However , after seeing the before and after photos I'm feeling much better about the surgery ???? when I saw my before photos I was shocked! Honestly I did not remember how bad they were before! Dr M said that at my 6 month appointment , if I still am not totally satisfied , he will "take care of me". It feels so good to know he is on my side and I'm really happy with my decision to go with him .

I recently went to Dr M for breast augmentation with 355cc under the muscle silicon " Sientra" breast implants. I chose to drive from the SF to Folsom to be his patient because Dr.M is known to be the best! (my husband is a physician and his own patients have always had glowing reports, in addition I have a friend who achieved excellent results ). I wanted more than a mere surgeon- what I wanted was an artist!
I am 8 days post op and despite significant swelling, much to my dismay, I have noticed that the difference in my bra size and breast volume is unsubstantial. My goal was to increase my my bust 1.5-2 cup sizes to reach a "full D or small DD" . I am aware that breast implants don't precisely translate to to cup size, but I still fit my old bras!
While it's possible that there may have been a miscommunication for which I am partially accountable for, i am hopeful that Dr.M will work with me we so that we can arrive to a mutually acceptable arrangement so that it is possible for me to achieve my initial goal. I understand that it takes 3-6 months for the breasts to reach their final appearance. In my case the rumored eventual "drop and fluff" will not be sufficient. I want a revision. Immediately.
From an aesthetic perspective the breasts look great. I want to emphasize here that my issue is related to the actual size of the implant - not the quality of the work. I am very happy with the office staff.
