Pics!

WORTH IT$3,000
Before & After pictures next to each other. My nostrils are a little swollen today as I just got the cast off. I’ll post better ones once I fully healed or as the weeks go by! I’m happy as of right now with the outcome.

Much better!
So happy for you
Very pretty! Did it really cost you 3000 dollars?
My 1st septoplasty was done by an ENT and failed in just over a year. Second was done by a Dr who was board certified in both ENT and Plastic Surgery so I had him shave down a bump on my nose while I was out. Insurance paid for both septoplastys but I had to pay extra for the cosmetic part. Took about two weeks before I could breath breathe properly but so worth it. Liked having the bump gone too.

Day 8!

I got the cast and splints taken out today. It was more painful that I imaged! I’m so happy I don’t have to deal with the pain of the stitches and the annoying cast anymore. When I got home I cleaned up the dried blood in my nose and one piece was attached to the stitch and pulled it out! It pulled a lot and I cut it instead of pulling it more. It hurt really bad and now inside there’s a puffy swollen piece, not sure if I ruined something. Here are some pictures taken of my nose right after the removal!

I have a curved nose and had a septoplasty that left my septum over corrected and I’m considering a revision septoplasty accompanied with a rhinoplasty. Do you have any current pictures? Any advice?
Hi! Yes I'll take a current photo and update soon! It was 100% worth it.
My insurance covered the septoplasty. Have your doctor refer you to an ENT so you don't have to pay for that part

Day 6 & 7 Post Op!

Not much change over here. My bruising is starting to yellow but at a very slow speed. I’ve been taking the arnica but I’m not sure it’s helping a lot. My nose is still dripping with blood here and there so I wear the gauze 90% of the day. Is this normal? I thought the bleeding would stop around day 4 post op. I can see the gauze stuck in there still, it hasn’t been fully dissolved by the saline spray. I go tomorrow for my cast removal. He said it might have to be removed Monday depending on the progress. Hoping for the best!
