Microblading Journey: hating how this looks

I am getting used to the brows. They still look odd to me when I don’t have makeup on, but with makeup they are looking better. I fill them in with pencil to fix the shape; they fade out with concealer and foundation and need the boost. There are no microblading marks at all; just solid tatoo so I am really unsure of the purpose of a touch up at this point; I don’t think I can do it. If they have to be wet, slimy, and too thick and dark while they heal for a week again... no way and no thanks. I think I’ll just deal with these for now. I’ll update again soon.

Honestly, I think you're the only one who would notice any slight difference. I think they look great!
The shape looks great. As far as the definition goes, I hope that gets better. That's the whole point right. This is where we might question the equipment or actual microblading blade or if the line bleeds or blurr due to other causes.
I tend to agree with the prior comment. They are looking better in the pics you are posting; more natural. Regarding shape and height: if they were identical, they would be too “match-match” and look fake. Natural eyebrows are not identical to one another. I don’t want to offend, but could you be (understandably) obsessing a bit. They are looking better than they did at first, although I agree that individual microblading ‘hairs’ are not readily visible in the pics. They really are starting to look good.
Yea..I was fixin to say the same thing..my eyebrows don't match and I have my natural brows. They have never looked identical-like my boobs. I also think your eyebrows look better as your journey progresses. Wish u luck
Yes she’s right the left side is thicker
Ohh...I feel your pain. I'm on Day 26. One of my eyebrows still hasn't peeled so the tail is super dark and thick...the other arch on mine is higher. I developed cellulitis on Day 4. Went on 5 days if augmentin and another 10 days on Cipro. I'm still waiting for better results. I feel like it's too long to feel so horrible about my face. Keep us posted on your progress. I still keep asking myself, why in the world did I do this to myself. I am like you in that I expected very different results...just wanting to have that ideal brow that others seem to have.
Hi....just checking in to see if you're brows are softening. I had my initial appointment in October with my touch up in December (4weeks ago) I too think mine are a bit dark and the tails look more solid and doesn't look like hair strokes. When I have makeup on, I like them, but on a bare face, I think they're way too dark. When I'm hoping they continue to lighten/soften (I've been washing and using exfoliating wash to help with the process). When I go back next year for my touch ups I'm going to have her go a shade lighter! Ugh...what we go through for nice brows!
Thank you for checking in! It's been exactly 6 weeks ago yesterday that I had mine done. The brows closest to the bridge of my nose has faded, but the tails are still pretty dark. Good idea on going a little lighter on the touchups. It took me 4 weeks into this ordeal yo finally have the courage to report my experience to the estatician who did my brows. He's suggesting waiting until February to fo my touch up bc of the cellulitis. Agree with you that when I wear makeup, my brows look better. Without any on my eyes, the brows look too harsh. Here's to the New Year and loving ourselves for all we put ourselves through to being and looking our best!! ❤
it looks like she went exactly with your natural shape.
Is that bad, do you think? I want my girl to follow my natural shape and she doesn't want to.....she wants wax off about half of one of my brows so she can make them match better. I'm not into that.

Day 12: think these are tattooed on, not microbladed
They are solid and I can’t see one microblade mark. I think these are tattooed on rather than microbladed. She wanted to see me at 3 weeks post (which would be next week) but I canceled and will wait a bit longer. I went to her thinking I was getting 3D microblading and feel very misled and upset.

I have just been reading your posts for the first time. I am so sorry that your brows are not what you wanted or expected at this point. Will say a prayer that they fade to a softer, more natural shade for you, and that you begin to see individual feathered hair lines. I am older and my brows are becoming scarce with some very coarse rogue hairs (which I tweeze). I am watching the microblading posts of everyone I can in hopes of learning. I would love to have mine done, but so far those who have posted seem to have similar experiences to your experience (with an occasional post a few weeks out who are happy. Please continue to post in a few weeks to let us know how you feel. I sincerely hope that you will ultimately be delighted.
Hey! I️ had mine done a year ago today. It’s my birthday so I️ got that last year. Micro blading is a tattoo, they just don’t push the ink in so deep. They will fade. I️ just made an appointment for January for a retouch. Mine seemed heavy and dark, but it does lighten. Use a face wash on your eyebrows, rub it with a washcloth. You’ll see color come off. It will get less noticeable. They look great, nice shape, just be patient!
I know what you are saying. Mine appear to be that way at day 14. I havent fully peeled yet though so i am hoping thats the problem and in 2 weeks i will see the individual hairs again. Just posted some my photos - up to Day 6.
tattooed eyebrows would be so different ( see my photos you will feel better lol
I hear you on the regret! I did the same thing and ended up with the solid brow. I found another stylist who knows what she is doing and said that happens when the strokes are placed too close together and if the area gets wet (at all) for up to 10 days. This stylist also specifically says NOT to put anything on them (vaseline, etc...). She gave me bandaids to put over my eyebrows while I showered. The good thing is that they will fade. You can google online ways to speed that process up. I feel your pain GF!
