I've been pretty satisfied with my results so far. I'm just so glad to get rid of those saggy bags of skin above my eyes that I haven't been to picky with the little lines and bumps until now. The red color is still there, but I can see that it has faded somewhat. I have some milia bumps that have developed, mostly on the left side, that are starting to bother me. I'm still doing massages and this seems to aggravate the bumps, which makes them annoying. I went in to my PS's office last week and they attempted to puncture and squeeze them out. They were partially successful, but not really. It's really hard to put up photos of myself without makeup, I don't like to think of myself as looking like this.

What a huge difference!! You must be thrilled! Beautiful results! Thank you for your gradual & clear photos. Excellent review. Do you find that when you smile (having the lower bleph now) that it's not as wrinkly? Wondering if a lower bleph would help for myself as well.

Hi, I don't think I answered you. I didn't get a lower bleph and I really don't want to to extra stuff that is not needed. I really needed the upper done as it was sagging. I do notice that the eyelids feel "tight" and strange still, even after 6 months. I still think it's worth it, but it wasn't perfect, or thrilling, just glad I did it. Maybe it's because I always lifted my eyebrows when I looked in the mirror that I didn't notice how bad it had gotten before.

Use of BioCorneum on Bleth Scars.

I just called my plastic surgeon about using BioCorneum on bleth scars. It is approved for the face but they recommend not getting it into the eyes. The office suggested that it would be OK if I put it on thinly with a Q-tip and keep it away from the corners where it could get in the eyes.

I am seriously contemplating this surgery but am concerned about "what if" cuz we have all seen celebrity botch jobs and the amount of money. For $4-5k I can do a lot of other things.....please keep posting your journey and if you feel it is all worth it.

I know it's worth it when I look at my "before" pictures! I can't wait for everything to heal and relax into it's proper shape. I know that if there are some bumps left that they can be removed, so I'm not really worried. They still feel tight, but that's normal, I guess.

Starting to Wear Makeup Again

I really hate me without makeup! My skin is so light and my eyes are so dark, they look weird to me. I have red hair and brown eyes - one of the most unusual combinations, so I really have to work to make them look good together. My hair has gotten browner as I age, and my eyes are lightening, too, but they still look like button eyes to me! At least now I don't have those saggy eyelids making them look worse. I'm going to love my eyes soon!
