Help! Stitches scarring

WORTH IT
My stitches are not dissolving and causing scarring at those points.
I just saw PS and he said it will be fine. But I’m super worried and would like to know what my options are. I scratched one and it opened and I snipped it and it healed perfectly!

How has you scars healed up?
hi thanks for checking in, no they're about the same. I am looking into laser scar therapy. I am still happy with BR but scarring is worse than I thought it would be :(
Oh, I am so sorry to hear that. But it’s great that you were still happy that you had the surgery. I hope that the laser therapy works out very well for you and that the scar revision healing is fast
How are you doing? I just logged in here and was thinking about you. I hope you’re hanging in there and things are getting better!

12 weeks nipples seem higher!?

I feel like my nipples are higher than a few weeks ago. Scarring seems like it has shifted? Anyone had this happen at this point in healing? I like the first pic and hope then will drop again. Thanks!

I have NOT noticed a nipple shift and I am 11.5 weeks out. I did notice part of the incision scar under my left breast has a “rope” type of feel, most likely hypertrophic, by this point in time. How do you feel your scarring is doing?
Yes I have the ropey scar tissue too. And a lot of Undissolved stiches. Seeing surgeon next Friday to check on things!
Are you still using any of the scar cream? That “rope” like feeling that I had, went away I think perhaps my wireless bra was too tight. I hope everything goes well with the plastic surgeon tomorrow.
I stopped using creams regularly but started again this week. I posted new pix of my stitches and scars. Any advice is appreciated!

Mepitac silicone tape

Someone posted about this silicone tape and I had to post about it. I’ve seen more progress with healing/scarring since using this only a few days. I was worried about scarring and my scars were pretty red and seemingly taking a while. $12 at CVS

I am so happy you decided to it! It’s smooth and soft and easy to apply and reapply. Plus I love that it’s waterproof! I am so glad to hear that you are noticing a change in your incisions. And remember, you can use it along with your silicone gel. And one more thing, you can use coupons on this through CVS. Happy healing!
Excellent! Thank you!
great job, looks amazing
You look amazing may I ask what size you were before hand and after? I’m worried because I’m 20 the fact I haven’t had a child yet maybe breast reduction isn’t for me, I’m worried because my frame is curvy so I’d want to be a D or add to fit my frame I’m worried I’ll loose my identity
I was an E but not a full E. I think i in m a full B/C now.
