The diagnosis of breast cancer is so scarey that the last thing on my mind was reconstruction. But as things settled down,even though I was way past my child bearing years, and in fact a Grandma,I did this reconstruction for myself. I refused to be confined to wearing mastectomy bras and prosthesis in my swimming suit or having my clothes hang weirdly.

As a nurse, I did all my research with other professionals,visited the web sites of surgeons in my area and came up with Dr M as my choice of Plastic Surgeon.It was the best decision I made! Dr M and his staff have been so helpful and supportive of myself and family members from day 1.
