WORTH IT$4,700
4 beautiful kids ( all breastfed for 1 year each), Implant exchange (this is my 2nd BA), age 40, 5'7in.
Had my 1st BA in 1999. Approx implant size was 350cc, saline, under the muscle, and Axillary incision. I believe the implants were anatomical shaped. I did not have any problems with the old implants I just wanted to go bigger with a rounder shape. I had the implant exchange/revision in December of 2014. I love my new boobs. Wish I wouldn't have waited so long to upgrade. Now I have 1080cc saline, Moderate Plus, under the muscle, smooth round Mentor with an areolar incision. I'm almost 8 weeks out and the incision site is almost undetectable! My surgeon, Dr. Sumida, is absolutely amazing. He gave me exactly what I asked for. I couldn't be happier with my new additions. My husband loves the way they look and feel.

Looks good did you get the internal bra?
User Avatar

No internal bra, Just a straight forward implant exchange. I thought after nursing 4 kids I would need some sort of lift or internal bra, but apparently I didn't. Yippie!
January 30, 2015
Hi, what size bra were you before and now? I have to get revision surgery and don't know what kind of implant to get. Thank you

Hi there, in the beginning before any BA I was a 34B. After my 1st BA with 350cc breast implants I wore a 36D ( but I am pretty sure I was wearing the wrong size bra). After this most recent surgery with 1080cc implants I was professionally measured at Nordstroms and I now wear a 34J. And let me tell you, the correct bra and bra size has made a huge difference. I would suggest everyone having a professional bra fitting for sure.

Thank you!!

That’s amazing how 1080cc implants took you to a 34J and 500cc took me to 34I. I too recommend everyone get fitted at Nordstrom. Just like some PS make people wear those darn band/straps. Thankfully my PS doesn’t use them. How are your implants holding up a few years later? I know this post is a few years old but I saw you reply on someone’s post. I hope your doing well dear. ❤️

Hi I'm 45 mother of 6 ~ who HSS always been a full c but due to age and breastfeeding ~ extreme deflation & sagging occurred. had a full breast lift and 500 cc saline implants mod plus (dr said thats the biggest he would do) done 2 yrs ago here on Maui Hawaii and paid 11,500..only to have them sagging already :(. He will charge me 7600,for the redo and now he's saying I can go bigger if wanted. I'm doing research here read others in similar situations with boobs falling to armpit when I lay down. So disappointed in my huge invesment . yours looks fabulous btw. What was your implant size and what cc did u overfill to?
User Avatar

Hi there, Thank you for the compliment. Sorry to hear about your disappointing situation. My implants are the largest made by Mentor. 800cc's overfilled to 1080cc's. I've never had any problems with my implants falling into my armpits. Wow! $7600 for a redo, sounds a bit pricey. How can your implants be sagging after a lift and only 2 years post op? What did your de say about it?
January 30, 2015
6 months after surgery I noticed the large gap when laying but he claims the pocket was made perfect and it could be my skin stretch that much but Im not agreeing with that answer but hes not giving me much of a discount for a redo so ive already called your PS this morn and I will email him with pics and my issue and see what his reply & rough estimate will be. I was thinking of going max with the next one as u did. Which profile did u go? What did u think about silicone ?

Dr. Sumida is amazing. What's nice about him is he won't sugar-coat anything. You show him what you want and he'll evaluate you and tell you what he can do. I went with Moderate Plus. I have only had saline implants. I love them. They are soft and pillowy. If you want implants over 800cc's then you have to go with saline. Silicon are pre-filled (but you probably already knew that). I wanted implants over 1000cc's that's why I chose to stay with saline. I'm glad to hear you have sought a second opinion. I would love to hear about your experience with Dr. Sumida.

@mima6 Did you ever get your breasts fixed? I got a BL/BA 14 1/2 months ago 500cc Mentor mod+ profile unders and I was sized recently at 34I. I fluffed again at 12mpo and went up a size from my H cup. It really depends on your BWD, skin elasticity and anatomy. Not sure what happened with your lift after 2 yrs? Maybe you should post a review or post a question to the Dr on the Q&A forum, good luck!❤️

Just curious...what size is the red bra. I'm only about 5 weeks post op and haven't been sized officially or bought a regular bra yet. Just playing around with a measuring tape I measure 34i. I want to eventually go to a store or boutique where I can try them on. I hate to take a chance with ordering a bra online. You look fabulous by the way!

I was about 3 weeks out when I was measured at Nordstoms. The red bra is a Freya 34J. I would definitely suggest going somewhere to try on bras and be fitted by someone that knows what they are doing. These bigger bras are pricey! I totally agree with you on the online ordering thing. Don't take a chance until you know your correct size. I was completely shocked when I was measured at a 34 band size because I had been wearing a 38! Thank you for the complement.

@Alice2600 where do you find your bras at? At our size, funding them in store is hard. Usually I go to Nordstrom but would love to find other stores if possible!? Thanks. ❣️

My favorite bras ( EWA MICHALAK) are made by a Polish company. A little pricey but Worth every penny!
I watched a YouTube bra review video for this company before I purchased. So glad I found this brand.

Nordstroms. Have someone in the bra department measure you and help you find bras that fit you best. You won't be sorry.

their amazing! Finally got my funds together but need to really do my research on a dr for this revision. It's been an expensive investment. Being my tissue is very stretched ~ that'll be my biggest issue with keeping my new set up.high.

Do you think you'll need an internal bra of some sort? I'm happy to hear you are ready to go with your revision. Remember to update after your surgery.
May 14, 2015
I think an internal bra may be the best solution but I've been getting mixed recommendations from different drs.. A couple I've spoke to says not required and a few says that an internal bra would be helpful for the result I'm looking for. Will start my own blog soon. Did your dr have his own surgery center in his ofc or do you have to go to a hospital?
User Avatar
May 14, 2015
Geez... Makes it hard to make an informed decision when different doctors give so many different opinions. Looking forward to your blog:) Yes, my dr had his own surgery center in the same building as his office. It was great!
May 20, 2015
ok wonderful ~ did u have drains left in after being released?
User Avatar
May 20, 2015
No, I never had any drains. My doc didn't even mention them.
May 20, 2015
thank you again for your helpful info. I'm heading to Vegas in Oct and will make time to meet 2 other drs for consultations and go from there. Do you live in the area of Dr. Sumida or did you have to drive a distance or fly there? Being I'm in Hawaii ~ that's my hardest decision adding factors if I have complications when I return home and my PS is in another state. How long after surgery did you massage them (if at all)? My dr. here suggested I massage them a week after and I think that is why they seem to have dropped and softened more than it should've.
User Avatar
May 21, 2015
Yes, I live in the area. Not far from Dr. Sumidas office. It's always a difficult decision when you have to travel for surgery especially when you're worried about possible complications. Massage! My husbands favorite part. Dr showed my hubby how to properly massage them. I'm pretty sure in was on the 2nd pre op appt... So within a week of surgery. I just followed the docs instructions and everything worked out great.

Hi there, Thank you. I started waist training a couple months ago and I love it. The corset I'm wearing in the pic is from orchard corset and it is a cs-426 longline underbust. Love it❤️

Hey there, Thanks! Do you have any of the mesh corsets? A total must have for the summer. I just received mine in the mail and love it. Took a peek at your profile. Love the size of your boobs.

Hahaha... They don't even feel big anymore. They felt heavy at first but now I'm used to them. I don't even notice the extra weight. My left side is still a bit higher and firmer then the right but It gets squishier everyday so I'm not to worried. I think they feel awesome. With this size I expected them to feel super firm and fake but they don't at all:)

How's your sensitivity? Did u lose some or not at all? I had my ba in December 2014 as well. I feel like the sensitivity has come back on my right breast but not quite on my left. I got 350ccs under the muscle. Btw, your boobs look amazing.

I am more than a year out from my BA and my right regained little sensation and my left is mostly just pain around the aerola scar line I had the lift and augmentation with 325/380 under muscle

All I can say is wow! Very sexy! SO glad you are happy with the results! How hard was it to go from 300 to 1000 cc as far as recovery? I just had surgery on Tues and went from 385 to 565 and they feel great and not too heavy.
User Avatar
June 16, 2015
Thanks! I remember having a lot more pain and discomfort with the 1st surgery, but that was a long time ago. Not sure if that pain had something to do with the incisions site or the fact that my doctor kept me bound up and compressed so tightly after surgery. Not fun
