I just wanted to say hi. I had my first consultation with Dr. Mabourakh on Monday but I just called and scheduled a second one for this coming Monday because I forgot to ask sooooo many questions. Important ones too! Lol So I guess I do have a question. Sarah, the patient care coordinator was just telling me that Dr. M just went to a conference where they discussed how narcotic pain relievers interfere with healing. How was your pain level after surgery? Did you have much a need for narcotics or was Tylenol enough? What size implants and what profile did you choose?

Hi there! I think I only used the rx painkillers for a day or two? I switched to Tylenol pretty quickly. My pain level was VERY low. I think a big reason for this is I did not lift weights beforehand. A friend of mine is really into fitness and started lifting weights a few months prior to her surgery. She had a very difficult time with her recovery because her chest muscles were built up.

I'm chose 445cc mod plus profile implants. I think it was a perfect choice for my frame! I was fitted for a bra and I wear a 32DDD but they don't look as huge as that sounds! ;) good luck with your journey and let me know if you have any more questions!

Thank you for your reply. I won't be getting my lift and implants as planned. Yesterday's appointment didn't go as well as I hoped. I went in to try to explain to him the shape I was hoping to achieve (because I've seen girls here on RS that have pre surgery boobs that resemble mine and I've seen their outcomes) and I asked if I could go over some pictures with him so that we were on the same page as far as shape and he said that he wouldn't look at them unless it was surgeries he's done. So then I was trying my best to explain to him what I wanted and he told me that would be unachievable with my current breast tissue. So I guess it is what it is and I'll be okay with that.

I am one week post-op from my breast augmentation...

User916
I am one week post-op from my breast augmentation with Dr. Mabourakh and I have nothing but the best things to say about him! Everything from the consultation to surgery to the after-care follow up has been so smooth and easy.

Some backstory: I breastfed two children. My pregnancy/nursing boobs were *amazing* but when that chapter in my life ended, so did my cleavage. I was left with NOTHING. My super sweet & supportive husband encouraged me to talk to someone and see about implants (probably because he was tired of seeing me whine about my flat chest!). I had a rhinoplasty surgery awhile ago and that surgeon highly recommended I consult with Dr. Mabourakh for my breast augmentation.

At our initial meeting, Dr. Mabourakh spent a lot of time with me while I tried on sizers and helped me determine which implant would be the best choice. I never felt rushed. I came in with tons of "wish" photos and I can honestly say he gave me exactly what I was hoping for!

One really nice thing is that your surgery takes place right there in his office. The anesthesiologist called me the night before surgery to go over some things and ask info had any questions. Everyone has been so sweet and caring through the whole process. Surgery was over in a blink and the recovery has been a breeze. I have had very very minimal discomfort and I am very pleased with the way they're shaping up!

I am so thrilled with my results so far. I may only be a week into healing, but my incisions are teeny tiny and already looking great. I know my new breasts have some dropping and fluffing to do but I can already tell they're perfect. I'm so happy I decided to get this done & feel sexy again. :)

Hey Girl! I have a consultation with him on the 24th. I was just curious if you happened to finance 100% of your surgery? I will be and I've heard you have to put a percentage down to book your surgery but I'm not sure if that applies to those who are financing their whole surgery. Thanks!

Oh let me know how your consult goes!! I didn't finance the surgery really... what I did was open up a new credit card with 0% interest for 18 months ;) I did save up for the initial down payment. I can't remember how much it was to secure the surgery date but he will go over that at your consult appt. When are you wanting to get it done? I'm SO happy I did it! After about a month you feel comfortable and they look good enough to wear a bikini top. Now that I'm 9 months post op I feel like I've always had them. :) you will LOVE Dr. Mabourakh

Thank you so much for your reply!!! I'm seeing Dr. Mabourakh for a lift with augmentation. I just posted some before pictures last night. He sure sounds like such a great doctor from what I'm hearing and reading. I can't wait to meet him! I don't suppose you wouldn't mind adding a recent picture update. Would love to see how your journey has progressed. I also really enjoy being able to see his work on a more personal account versus pictures from his webpage.
