1 year later - a revision on the BL and went a bit larger

Hello ladies!

It's been a year and things are wonderful.

Tummy tuck is spectacular, I have all my core body strength back and my tummy is as flat as can be. I've kept the weight off and have become healthier.

My Breast Lift with augmentation was wonderful, but I noticed that my left breast was getting a bit droopy and I had lost the fullness (or roundness) at the top of both breasts. I went back to Dr. Clark and she was perfect. She understood exactly what I was talking about and we discussed options. She suggested a revision to tighten up the loose skin that was allowing the droop and going a bit larger on the implants to get the fullness I was looking for back.

Note - on the original BL she suggested a particular size but I was so nervous about being "too big" that I choose a much smaller size than I should have (as in around 130, if I remember right?). Lesson learned! Trust Dr. Clark she is a professional and an artist and knows what she is talking about.

This time I told her I trusted her judgement and that she knew I didn't want to be "too big". I had my revision on 7/23, and I'm now 2 days post op. She put a 255 in my left breast and a 285 in my right (both Silicone again) and I think they look perfect! Once again the nurses, technicians and anesthesiologist were so wonderful, professional and caring. I went in to pre-op at around 9:30, surgery est @ 10:00, and they called my daughter to pick me up at 11:15. Dr. Clark called me that evening to check in on me, I was doing great.

I'm still tender and a bit swollen, she didn't need to make much in the way of incisions and honestly my breasts look amazing. The Percoset is still way to strong for me, lol, so I cut them in half and take 1/2 about every 5 1/2 to 6 hours.

My daughter was my helper this time, she is amazing. We stayed at the Marriott Residence Inn about 5 minutes away for the night before and night after surgery to make it easier on both of us. The folks there were wonderful, they have a special surgery rate if referred by Dr. Clark's office and made sure my room was right by the back entrance for ease of transport and privacy.

Back home now and doing great. I can't say enough about Dr. Clark and her staff, they are wonderful and I'd highly recommend them to anyone considering this type of surgery.

Overdid just a bit - slightly swollen

I took my dtr and her friend to Six Flags on Monday. I checked with my Dr. first, told her I wouldn't be going on any rides, would walk a bit, sit, watch a show, walk a bit, rinse and repeat. She said in my case she thought it would be fine.

We had a blast - the girls rode all the rides, I took my time and using my mom's walker walked slowly and saw different shows. I was very tired at the end of the day, but not in any pain.

No soreness or swelling the next day (Tuesday), so dtr and I did some grocery shopping and other short errands. Towards the end of the day I started feeling swollen. I spent today (Wed) resting but am still pretty swollen. I'm trying not to let my mind wander into worry territory, lol. I feel Monday and Tuesday were ok, and that if I didn't push it a little then maybe I wasn't sure if I was being too sedentary. Hopefully the swelling will go down tomorrow, I'd like to take a shower but do not want to encourage any more swelling by taking off the compression garment.

I've read here on others' posts that swelling is normal after increased activity, just chiming in to confirm that it happened to me as well.

Hope all is well with everyone! /hugs

10 days post-op, can't believe how it's flown by

Hi all!

Doing great here! Had my mommy makeover on 7/10 with Dr. Christa Clark, she and her staff are wonderful. Dr. Anderson, my anesthesiologist (sp?) was awesome. Radora Goold, the nurse technician that took care of me at home for the first 3 days was incredible.

Would have love to have posted here earlier, but honestly have just been too tired and am listening to my body and resting. But to recap....

Dr. Clark was so incredible and caring. She made sure that I got exactly what I wanted with my breast lift - I didn't want to be too big. My tummy tuck looks great - I'm astounded at how flat I am. And the scar is so low I don't know if I'd dare wear a bikini low enough to come close to showing it, lol. I have a bit of swelling, but am limiting salt intake to help with it. Dr. Clark said she tightened me up tighter than normal, so instead of being able to stand up straight after about a week she said it will take about two. The lipo areas are so flat too, a bit of bruising but nothing bad.

Day after checkup went great - Dr. Clark's staff said everything looked wonderful.

Pain is not there - at all. The first couple of days Radora gave me the Percoset that was prescribed but it pretty much knocked me out. Then we switched to 1/2 a pill, still knocked me out, so we switched to 1 motrin. Pretty soon I realized that I really didn't need anything - I just didn't hurt - yay!!!

The first couple of days were a blur - Radora would wake me up for medications and short walks around the house for circulation. I slept (I think?) through most of it, lol. She was with me for 3 days, what a blessing, everything was taken care of for my family and I, no worries, just peace of mind to rest. Omigosh on day 3 when I got to take a shower it was pure heaven!!!

Had my one week checkup on Friday - I can't believe how fast it's gone by. Dr. Clark's staff took off the steristrips and checked everything over. Dr. Clark came in, checked me over, snipped a few sutures, answered all my questions and was an absolute joy to be around. She is so knowledgeable and caring, I'm so glad I found her.

Still trying to walk straighter, today my daughter and I went to Sam's club and did the grocery shopping - I was so slow, lol. But it was good for me to get out and move. I'm very tired, but it's a good tired.

Hope you all are doing well and many internet hugs to you!

Dr. Christa Clark is incredible! I am so lucky to have found her. She did a mommy makeover - tummy tuck, breast lift with augmentation and lipo. She listened to my concerns over being too big in the chest area and made sure that my lift and the implants were just right for me. The tummy tuck is beautiful, and the lipo areas I can't believe are as smooth as they are now. Dr. Clark is so caring and knowledgeable. She answered all my questions and even sent me to a bra fit specialist so I'd know exactly what I'd be looking at when the lift was done. She is wonderful. Her staff is incredible, friendly and knowledgeable. The anesthesiologist (Dr. Anderson) was also so awesome. The surgery facility was clean and professional and everyone there was truly happy to be there - it made it a wonderful experience. Post-op care has been awesome. I also hired a professional after care technician - Radora Goold (she has a website...) she took care of me the first 3 days and gave me such peace of mind. This has been an incredibly positive experience and I know Dr. Clark and her staff are the reason why. I am so grateful to them for everything.
