I'm still really glad I did it. My scars are less raised but I do have some keloiding, but that's a genetic thing. I really liked Dr. Runnel and I think he did an excellent job. He was really good about follow up. I was a D right after the surgery and have since settled into DD. Totally recommend the surgery and Dr. Runnel.
Two and a half years later - Scarring
After the first year my scars were still pretty prominent. They're still going down. So if you've had it recently and are worried about your scars it really does take years for them to settle.
