Sorry I'm so late with an update. I get busy and forget about it. Some days I completely forget about the surgery. It's been a little over 8months since I had the surgery. Seems like I've always had small boobs! Lol!
I do have a little sensation in my nipples. It's weird really. If I flick them, the touch seems like it's too much and it hurts. Other times, I feel nothing. Hope that means something good. I'm wondering how they're going to respond during....sex. If anything magical happens, like full sensation, I'll let you know. If you have any questions, no matter how odd they are, let me know.
Here are a few pics for you! Happy healing!

Late update

Hey there!!!!!! Sorry I'm over 2 months late for an update. Let me say this before I get started. For the first time in 15yrs, I went through a hot, humid MS summer with little to no boob sweat!! No rash at all!!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhh!!! It felt amazing!!! Lol!!! Now, on to other things.
As far as nipple sensation, I still have little to none. Booooo!! Yeah, it sucks majorly!!! My nipples do respond to a very firm touch and cold air, but I'm no longer hopeful the feeling will progress from where it is now. I'm almost 8 months post surgery and it has barely changed since then. I haven't seen my PS since 6wks post-op. Is that abnormal? I thought most PS's have you follow up so they can measure your progress for statistics and to provide that info for their future patients. Or even take pics to show future patients. Makes me question the info/stats they provide patients about their success rate.
Even with all that being said, I still don't regret my decision. Just be more informed than I was. I was so excited and didn't think about a lot of things. Ask to see pics. Don't let them woo you with vague information. Ask about the success and failure rate of your procedure. Ask about the satisfaction level of patients post-op. Ask anything that you think sounds dumb!!! Ask questions until you turn blue in the face, if you want!!! Lol!!! Ok, enough for now.
The next post will include pics!!!!!!!
See ya next time!!!

New size!!!!!

Hey ladies!!!!!! Hope you all are enjoying this cloudy, wet Wednesday!! Lol!!! I decided to post some after pics in bras. I went from a 42I to a 40DDD. However, these pics are me wearing a 42DD. I purchased these bras about 1mo post op. Lane Bryant had a sale I couldn't pass up; half off!!!! Lol!! Now that most of my swelling has gone down, I find a 40DDD is a much better fit. Hopefully I'll purchase a few of those soon. The 42DD isn't snug enough, even on the tightest hook. My breasts tend to kind of fall out the bottom of all of them. Not a good look, nor feeling!! That means the wire ends up right on top of my incisions!! OUCH!!!
Also, I know that most people avoid underwire until around 3-4mo after, but I've been wearing them since Wk 5. Because of the swelling, the bra was snug, I didn't worry about it rubbing my incisions. I hated how sports bras and wire-free bras looked under my clothes. Lol! I've been wearing underwire bras for over 10yrs. It was hard to give up. :).
Until next time ladies, happy healing!!!!

You look wonderful..I too am an underwire bra lover. I feel they give me a more defined shape and when the band is snug I don't have any pressure on my shoulders. My first ps told me I could wear an underwire when I was 7 weeks post op. I also think the 40 fits you better than the 42.
