10 month update !

Hi guys! I haven’t been on here in a very long time but this will be my final post! It has been almost one year since my BR SX, time flies! Over all I am happy with my results and I’ve accepted the size they are regardless of what the bra tag says! They do plump up more during period time (bummer) but once they go back down, I LOVE THEM! I can go braless with no worries. I don’t regret a single thing and I’m so happy I made the decision to get them reduced. Thankfully my PS had to remind me of what they USED to look like to stop me from spending more money on a revision, it 100% helped me to look at my before photos. If you are feeling like me, I suggest you do the same to see how far you’ve come! Thanks everyone for being so supportive and kind!

That's awesome. Yes it is amazing to look back at where we started, isn't it? Best to you in all your future endeavors...thanks for sharing your story here :-)
You look amazing. Much slimmer and proportionate than your before pic. I’m glad you’re happy. Without knowing your height and weight, I do think it looks like your surgeon could have removed more tissue but I’m sure he had body symmetry in mind, which is now perfect. I’m 4 months out. My surgeon is more aggressive. I’m 5’2, 115lbs. 34DDD pre-op. Now 32/34 C. Had scar revision surgery a month ago for dog ears and will remove extra skin/under arm fat in 6 weeks if still not smooth. All very quickly in my opinion but I’m thrilled. Sorry to go on about myself. I loved your posts and I’m thrilled your happy. You look beautiful.
Thank you very much! Yes I wish he would’ve removed more also but I can’t come to spend more money on another surgery ! I love you went from 34ddd to 32c that is amazing and that’s what I wanted but oh well! I’ve learned to love them. I too need to get a dog ear removed , did it hurt ?
Sorry for the delayed response. No, the dog ear revision didn’t hurt. I only felt the lidocaine shots and a little movement. Not bad. I even drove myself home. Had I known to bring a driver they would’ve given me a Valium or something. I take Ativan anyway so I just took 2 to relax. Hurt a little after but they give you pain pills but you don’t need them for long. Good luck.
Question do you know how many cc’s your surgeon removed from each breast?!
Question!! Do you know how many cc’s he took out of each breast?! I’m in the exact same predicament same size and everything. I just want to know if this is what my end result will be like. Please respond! I’m super nervous bc I think they are too big.
He only took out 93grams from the left and 193 from the right so not much. Good luck!
That’s crazy! But I’m glad you enjoy them now! My surgery took out 240-260cc’s and that’s because I asked him to. He was going to do 150cc’s I said nope! I wish I had more taken out. I can still fit into my 34dd bras just more comfortably. I’m a 1 month post op and they still look big. Any advice?!
I had around 450cc’s taken out of each side. During surgery doc sewed breast tissue to my chest wall to create upper pole fullness. He’s awesome. Now at 11 month post op, and 2 dog ear revisions and side fat removal (doc did for free). I’m comfortably wearing a 34 B. I wasted money on buying good bras too soon.
Thank you so much!!
Thank you so much!!!
My surgery date is coming up soon. Where did you get those pink post op bras, I am trying to prepare lol. Also, any recommendations on which size I should buy, I dont know how much smaller I'm going to be post-op.

Yours look really good and I see a big difference. I know what you mean by wanting them smaller though. I want half of mine gone too lol. Looks great though and it suits your body.

Swelling 98% gone

3 month PO and swelling is pretty much gone! All I can do now at this point is to see if any weight loss helps them get a bit smaller! Really hate to do this all over again and spend even MORE money out of pocket!! I really am thankful I haven’t had any complications with my healing process or during the procedure. Barely any pain! Incisions have been a little sensitive lately but that’s it! Although I may have only gone down 1 cup size , it was still worth it. I’ll reevaluate again in 3 more months!

They do actually look very nice. It is amazing to see the change just from swelling.
THank you! Yes it is! I’m glad I took photos along the way to help ease my mind with the size. I still feel too large in shirts but they have really gone down a lot
It's actually kind of weird to look at your picture progression because they didn't look THAT huge before surgery, but big, and a little"low hanging"- actually I think that's about what I looked like when I was your age! But right after surgery they do look huge!! Like bigger than before because of being positioned higher! I don't see too many women swell up that much on here! My size really hasn't changed since after my surgery- things have shifted and settled but I guess I really didn't swell. So very little difference over 3 months time, whereas on you a huge difference. It's just so interesting how different people's bodies react. Anyway I'm sorry you still feel too big but they do really look great! I am so glad mine didn't end up any bigger as even at a C cup I feel plenty big in shirts! But that has to do with my actual body build which is wide shoulders and a short torso. Which is partly why having big boobs always made me feel so dumpy!
You are absolutely right! Everyone’s bodies are different and I don’t see too much swelling on here either like I had. I do hope to end up a C cup but looks like I’m going to be a 34D :( Yeah I was HUGE before but still big for my height and definitely saggy !!!!!! Thanks so much for your positivity , I certainly needed that. Do you have pics up?
HAHAHAHAHA! YES! I have a ridiculously huge, long review with tons of pics. Feel free to speed read!
Wow...your swelling reduced so much from months 1-2 and months 2-3. I bet they will keep reducing in size like then have been so far, although they already look great. Weight loss might also help reduce the size, as well as bring down any bloating or fluid retention. I am around a 32D at Victorias secret right now and my goal was (is) a 32C so I am trying to shed a few pounds too although I don't have a lot to lose (it doesn't look like you do either). Either way, I think a healthy diet and exercise will benefit the boobies, so that is what I'm trying now!
That’s great to be a 32D! I believe that’s equivalent to 34D. Thank you! I hope it continues to go down but I believe the swelling is pretty much gone!!! But I’ll see by March (6mo PO) Yes I can def loose 10-15 more lbs , still trying to shed baby weight ! Would love to just get Lipo/tummy tuck and get it over with!!!!!!!!! We can DO THIS!!!
Wow, look great, but why do you still hav tape on at 2 and 3 months? My incisions look far worse, but the doctor took the surgical tape odd.
off* at 8 day appt!
My doc advised me to keep the tape on for 6 months to help with scars. Not sure if it makes a difference but I’m following orders
That’s good to know, I’ll ask mine, he has had everything off them since week one f/u. I’m sensitive to adhesive though. Still have lots of healing to go.
Mine had me keep tape on my incisions for 3 months. I feel it was helpful to support the incision areas and keep them protected. Also blurs the way they look, I'm glad I kept them covered. I get a little weirded out even looking at other people's uncovered incisions on here, they just look so raw at first!
I am in the same place ( thinking I am still too large), plus have an asymmetry on top of it. 2 month post, and I just 1-1,5 cup size down from DDD. Would suck to do it allover, indeed!
How much weight you plan to loose? it doesn't look that you have too much extra.
I lost some lb since surgery, but somehow it seems that my breasts look just wider on me not smaller..
I actually think that your Doc. success was in estimating right amount of tissue to remove for symmetry. (Mine overkilled it). Your symmetry is good as well as shape. Look as you got just a nicely done lift, not a reduction at all.
Maybe your size will grow on you( not literally, sure:) in a few month? You have very nice shape and the symmetry!!!
How many grams did he take out?. I am 7 days post op and he took 360 out of one and 220 out of the other. I am still so swollen that I have no idea what size I will be. I think a c in the end. My ps never used tape or anything told me to light gauze myself that my skin is holding them in place for now. I have bought a couple of sports bra and they are to small had to go buy more yesterday. I want them lose so they don't rub on the scars. I go to my ps for my one week which is rely a 10 day post op this Thursday. Maybe he will tell me I can wear my sports bra then. Your surgery does look like it is a great success my pa said it could be really 6 months to a year before I know my true size.
Wow yes you should end up the size you desire! Mine didn’t take out nearly as much as yours did but I wasn’t huge to begin with I guess. 93 grams (left) 193 grams (right) I’m VERY unhappy with my size being that I only went down 1 cup size to 34D. I paid out of pocket and am still trying to pay off the surgery so not sure if I can even afford a revision as he said he would do. He feels they are perfect for my frame but I’ve always had big boobs and was really looking forward to a small C.
Well i really hope they still reduce even more for u in the next 3 months!
As do I !!! But I think majority of swelling is gone :( thank you for the positive feedback! Happy healings to you!

2.5 months Post Op

34DD bathing suite top (target) too BIG! But, still fit into 34DD-D bras from Victoria Secret wahhhhhh what the heck!!!! I feel this surgery was a mistake after all the money I spent to be able to fit into the same ole bras! Trying to remain positive but I’m loosing hope here. I doubt I’ll have that much swelling go down in the next 3.5 months.

I feel your pain. I was 32H, wanted 32B/C and ended up with 32DD/DDD. Still feel big, although much more manageable. I don't regret my surgery but trying to work on losing some weight to go down another size or two.
Hello, my size didn’t dramatically change either but my surgeon told me this immediately after surgery. He said he would have liked to make them smaller but taking out any more tissue was too dangerous in term of proper scar healing and liposuction didn’t work as my breasts are very glandular not fatty. However, I’m very happy that I can now wear bras that don’t need to be so ridiculously tight across my back and shoulders since the reduction achieved great lift. I’m much more comfortable and confident, with people remarking that I look more in proportion. A bit of weight loss wouldn’t hurt me either but I’m not confident that it will change my breast size much. Hopefully you grow to see and feel the benefits soon, I think they look great :)
Thank you for your kind words! My PS said he thinks they look great on me and told me up front he wasn’t about going “Small” Could possibly come back and want implants. I was enormous before as some are but I did want a more drastic change and not just 1 cup size difference. I looked at your pics and you can definitely tell you are smaller! Good for you!! You went down 2 cup sizes right? Do you know how many grams your PS removed?
I initially appeared to go down 2 cup sizes but I’m back into some of my old E/EE and even F bras, which is fine as I bought lots of beautiful bras in the uk years ago pre-kids. I can’t remember the grams exactly, I think around 800 from each - the left a bit more than the right.
Oh wow that is a huge reduction !! They only removed 93g on left and 193g on right !
Haha, I could quite possibly have remembered that amount totally incorrect in my post surgery drugged up state!
I'm sorry you aren't the size you want but you really look great! Keep up the positive attitude. I'm sure things will work out for you.
Thank you very much !!!!!
