I'm going to see ps this morning for f/u. I'm sure he will want to fix these dog ears. I wish I could rip them off! I'm doing great! Good summer and felt so much better in a bathing suit. Just have to work on my hips and thighs now! I didn't lose anymore weight. Hopefully I will commit to this and drop some before Christmas. How everyone is doing great and good luck to those starting their journey!

Doing great! Swelling most of the time though. I assume that will get better in time. Still numb in center from about 3 inches above incision to about 2 inches below. Most swelling is right at incision line. I sneezed the other day and felt a pop with pain. No more swelling and no bruising. I researched it and think it may have been a scar tissue band?! Anyway I am great and so happy that i made the decision to have the TT. It has made a world of difference in my self esteem as well as my outlook. I will take pics soon. I look about the same but my dog ears look pretty weird. Those have worsened since I last saw PS. He thought they would lay down on their on but it's looking like that will not happen. I go back in August and wonder what he will do to fix it.
Hope everyone is doing great too!!!

I go Friday to have a scar revision done. Glad you are healing great.

To correct the ends? Mine are puckered and look weird. I'm sure he will have to do something eventually. Are you having to pay for the revision?

It is free and I think he is doing the whole scar cause my stitches pops all over the place when I was healing mainly on the left side and fixit my dog ears. He is doing it in the office.

I needed a revision. It was the Surgeon's idea. I adore him. If you want, check me out on RS. I need to update soon. I am thinking I will update for 10 month Post Op. It helps to look forward to the updating and it keeps me motivated to take good care of my surgeon's handiwork. If he offers it, go for it. Check your "plan/contract" and read about revision therapy. Mine was not out of pocket.

So happy that you are doing great, CurlyQ214! Sorry that you are swollen most of the time and still numb in certain places. {{HUGS}} It seems a lot of people get those 'dog ears". I'm not sure what they are, but I hope they either lay down or your PS fixes it for you very soon!
I am like you and feel like my tt will greatly improve my self esteem. I'm most excited for the ability to wear clothes without looking pregnant and feeling self conscious. I don't like getting asked when I'm due. LOL Sometimes I just go with it though as I feel like I don't want to explain or embarrass me or them. :)
I will look up the scar tissue band. Is that something going on with your scar? I know that another lady had an issue with a band around one of her BA. It fixed itself but was pretty painful she said. I hope that you get everything worked out to your satisfaction and enjoy your new YOU! Best Wishes for your follow up with your PS in August. Please keep us posted!

You look great. I am thinking about getting a tt with Mr. What concerns me is the pain some people go through. I've had 2 c sections and handled the pain without meds after being discharged. Most woman say c section pain is much worst than tt.

It really wasn't unbearable. It was totally worth it so far and I'm still swollen! Go for it!

I was just commenting to my PS yesterday about how easy the recovery has been. I did need pain meds for about a week, but then everyday was 100% easier than the day before. At two weeks out I felt back to normal, just not lifting anything over 20lbs. Now I'm a month post op and can do anything as before without getting worn out. I'm still holding off on lifting weights for two more weeks per my Dr. He says once you're 6 weeks out you can't mess up the muscle repair, so I'm going to wait on that. Hope that helps. It was easier than I expected after reading up on this surgery I was prepared to be down and out for a month.....it was a gappy surprise!

Thanks dolls I have an appointment with my primary care dr next month for my yearly physical then I will schedule a consult with my parents of choice at the end of June. I felt more comfortable with this dr because they have a surgical center and keep you over night for observation. I'm planning the surgery for December because it's the slow period at my job. This site has been a God send. Every is so open with sharing their journey. ..

I stayed overnight and wouldn't recommend going anywhere that sends you home the same day. I also had a hysterectomy at the same time but the TT is a lot more involved. The first week is awkward and uncomfortable but doable by far. I think the anesthesia also lingers for a while too. I felt like a zombie at times until on day 10 I snapped out of it and felt back to myself. Good luck!!

So glad I stayed overnight that is one reason I Chose My doctor. Good luck on your tummy tuck.

I have my tt surgery on Friday. I am a nervous that I won't get the result that I think I will get. I'm not sure what to expect though since I'm a larger size. I am tired of this huge pregnant belly, but wonder if this surgery will fix it.Like..will I 'really" be "on the flat side" after surgery? Did you have those concerns? Maybe I'm just too much of a worrier? I've seen my PS photos of ladies my size and larger and they seemed great. Anyway.. thanks for updating! {{{HUGS TO YOU}}}
