Final Update
$1,400
Hello, I'm sorry I stopped updating. I would stay away from this company if you have very severe crowding like I had. It turns out the company completely messed up my teeth and if I hadn't stopped using their aligners some of my teeth would have started to fall out! Once my dentist told me about the damage the aligners were causing me he told me to immediately stop. I told SDC about this and demanded my money back but they of course refused. I would say pay for regular braces, which is what I have done with a local ortho. Hope this helps and good luck.

Complete waste of money
It’s been a while but long story short...the aligners damaged my teeth and shifted them too quickly. They attributed to bone loss and I was told by my dentist that 4 healthy teeth may fall out as a result. I spoke to my lawyer and have formally asked for a full refund.

Wow your halfway point photos looked like they had shown significant improvement as well
From just the perspective on looks then yes they started to look great on the outside. The problem was under the gums they did irreversible damage and I lost a ton of bone because they shifted my teeth TOO QUICKLY. So yes, they looked great, but only because they were rapidly moved.
I'm sorry to hear this, but do you think that this could have been prevented if you'd have worn each retainer longer?
This is so unfortunate, I feel horrible for you. Was this discovered on Cray by your primary dentist,? Can you go to a restorative dentist for a second opinion? Perhaps you can root canal the teeth somehow. You need to find a very competent Boston attorney. Do not settle for someone without a lot of proven experience. Have you started the legal process?
The word is xray not Cray
Sorry to read this last update and how very unfortunate for you. But a LOT of us thank you for your postings and photos and your final update especially!
Did they ask your prior dentist for X-rays
How did you become aware that your teeth were moved too quickly? Were you in pain that resulted in the dental visit or did the dentist find it during a routine exam? I just popped in my month 1, week 2 aligner, so I’d love to know if this is something I need to be watching for. Thanks!
I've been wondering how your teeth were coming along. I'm sorry to hear this. Good luck with everything

They are looking soo good!!
Thank you! Starting to get excited and feel more confident!
One question, has your bite changed in the back? I just started my first tray this week and already my back molers don't touch that well.
Yes so my bite has changed considerably. I remember at some point (I think tray 5) I could actually feel and tell where my bite needed to be fixed (kind of hard to explain). Since I have a tooth that is still not completely straight my bite is very uncomfortable right now. At around tray 13 it should be better so I'll update again then but yes for now my back molars are not aligning perfectly but I'm pretty sure they will once the treatment is over.
wow, the change is really noticeable. congratulations!
Thank you! It's getting there :)
Amazing progress! Thank you for posting. I'm really looking forward to more updates :)
