I was tired of everyone saying how tired I looked. A lot of people that saw me on a regular basis probably never noticed. I did I woke up every morning hating my bags especially when they were puffy. I decided to have the surgery. I read and reread all the reviews. I was scared embarrassed and excited all at the same time. The morning of my surgery when I walked into the surgery room I cried I was thinking am I crazy is this worth it. I went through with it and couldn't be happier. He did the surgery from the inside of my lid so there was no bruising and minimal swelling. Actually the bruising was just yellow that I could cover with makeup. I had it done on a friday and had to bring my son to preschool on Monday I just wore Sunglasses to cover it up. I am so happy I did it

Go to a dr that does the lower lid from the inside of the lid. I had no bruising the swelling went down by 50% a day in a half later and because the surgery was done from inside there is no risk of infection you can wear make almost right away.

How was the surgery? I have heard it can be done under local & it's not that painful.

Well I had my surgery done from inside my eyelid so I was under anesthesia. There is absolutely no pain. I also suggest the Dr do it from the inside of the lid there was no bruising just the yellow bruising which you can cover with makeup and with that type of surgery you can wear makeup al;most right away.

No irritation at all. no pain which I read from pretty much everyone no pain. Just swelling. By the second day the swelling went down by more than %50. I still have some swelling in the mornings on my lower lid but I just ice for a few minutes and it goes down completely
