I have disliked my nose ever since I can remember....
I have disliked my nose ever since I can remember. I have always felt like it was too large for my face. Specifically, it is very wide on the bridge as well as having a flared base especially when I smile and my tip is a bulbous ball that droops. I have been researching the past 7 years about rhinoplasty and finally made the decision to go through with it. I saved up $500 for the down payment and then got care credit to cover the rest and I will be making $200 payments on it for the next 36 months unless I can pay it off sooner. I recently made a new friend who is a medical assistant for a plastic surgeon that is located about an hour away from me and she has also had rhinoplasty and talked to me about my fears and motivations in doing it. For about 2 months we talked about it and then she made me an appointment with her plastic surgeon and I went in for a consultation. I originally wanted to consult with at least 3 doctors to fully cover all my options, but once I met with Dr. Wallace I knew I didn't need to look any further. He made me feel secure and calm and took 2 hours just to talk to me in detail about exactly what I wanted to change about my nose as well as describing the procedure details and what I could realistically expect. I felt safe and confident in his care and I immediately knew he was the doctor for me. After the consultation I booked the pre-op visit for 3 weeks later and surgery date for a week and a half after that and put down my $500 deposit.

Dr. Wallace is extremely patient. He spent as much time with me as I wanted and went above and beyond my expectations in surgery. I had minimal bruising and swelling, no sore throat, and I could breathe through my nose even with packing in it. I had no blood draining down the back of my throat like most rhinoplasty patients claim. He made me feel secure and confident in his care. He has a great sense of humor and was more than happy to answer all of my questions and calm any anxiousness I had about the procedure.
