Stitches out

Hi, got my stitches out on Monday, wasn't too bad, a bit eye watering but all bearable. Now the wait until Friday for cast off, definitely nervous about it! Regarding how I'm feeling, still going good and sleeping fine at night. :)

Hi Catherine, I'm sorry to hear you feel so unhappy, have you spoken to Dr Hill about your concerns? I found Dr Hill approachable and voiced my own issues after surgery, and he did follow up with more surgery (this did take time as I had to wait for my previous surgery to heal before another one, also there is definitely changes to your nose as time goes on and you might be happier).
I had a bump removed and the tip reduced, though I found the tip was not reduced enough after my first surgery, I do have quite thick skin so think this was why the result was harder to get.
I am definitely a more confident person after surgery though honestly the end result did not meet my expectations. However, I have come to realize that it's also me that is too critical about myself.

I'm going to see him in June because I cudint make the last post op app can I ask did u have to pay for the follow up treatment my concerns are that the b4 pic he showed of me it showed a hump iv never had a hump on my nose it was straight but big I feel he has made my b4 pictures worse to show people I have pictures of myself b4 I feel like if been took on I cud up load them to show this op was a lifeline from years of being called names but ni I'm still in same position thanks for getting bk to me btw x
Hi, no I did not pay for the follow up treatment. You should bring your own before pictures with you to your next appointment and compare with his to put your own mind at ease and explain how you feel. Have you family/friend to speak to as I found they always give me their honest opinion.

Day 3&4

Slept a lot better, not sure if its because I was tired out from the previous nights broken sleep :) I don't seem to have anymore dry mouth and no bruising? Just swelled at the nose and can tell when need my next dose of tablets as feel the tingling/swelling on nose. Stitches coming out on Monday as I had an open rhinoplasty.

Day after surgery

Hi, my first day after surgery is near over and I will be catching up on sleep tonight I hope ???? I have been able to breath through my nose after surgery but my first nights sleep wasn't great as I kept wakening up with a dry throat. I felt my nose swelling in bed last night too but so far no pain or bruising. Maybe the bruising will arrive tomorrow? :)
