Rhinoplasty Northern Ireland - Fitzwilliam, Belfast

Hi, I am just home from my rhinoplasty op that was booked in for 9 am this morning. I feel surprisingly great at the minute, a little trickle of blood now and again but I expected this. It was my first time getting general anaesthetic and I have to say my mind is definitely at ease if ever needing it again. The reception, nurse & surgeon have been so lovely and definitely put me at ease everytime. Now the wait for cast off day next Friday, and hoping everything is as I hoped for :) I will keep use updated & hoping to help others on their journey and big decisions :) xx

Hi, my first day after surgery is near over and I will be catching up on sleep tonight I hope ???? I have been able to breath through my nose after surgery but my first nights sleep wasn't great as I kept wakening up with a dry throat. I felt my nose swelling in bed last night too but so far no pain or bruising. Maybe the bruising will arrive tomorrow? :)

Slept a lot better, not sure if its because I was tired out from the previous nights broken sleep :) I don't seem to have anymore dry mouth and no bruising? Just swelled at the nose and can tell when need my next dose of tablets as feel the tingling/swelling on nose. Stitches coming out on Monday as I had an open rhinoplasty.
