Finally Scheduled My Lip Lift!

Just looks weird

It's been 5 weeks now and I may have a bit of swelling still but, I basically spent 3700.00 for nothing. My lips are a bit bigger (due to fat transfer, not the lip lift). Definitely not worth the money or time it takes to heal. My incision is healing nicely thank goodness as I'd be really upset if it wasn't! It just looks weird and obviously not much was removed from the sides, it just drags and looks weird. I am sad and very disappointed with how it turned out. :( I see a revision in my future and honestly that doesn't sound that appealing after 5 weeks since my first one. Ugh.

Three Weeks and two Days.. I'm finally loving my results!
I feel like the swelling has dissipated quite a bit over the past few days and I am feeling like myself again (only better!). I have lips for the first time in my life and wearing lipstick is so much fun! I can see a bit more of my teeth when smiling and the weird crease and wrinkles under my nose is gone!! Yay!!! I saw my Mom for the first time since my surgery and she knew I had the procedure done and she said "honey, you look the same but, it looks SO great!" That was a huge relief as I didn't want to look like someone else. I feel like the fat grafting was necessary with me as, I had no lips and the lift alone would not have been enough for me. Doctor Alfonso did an amazing job and for the first time I can say I'm thrilled with my results! Btw.. My incision is healing very nicely and I've been using essential oils along with coconut oil and it seems to be working. Thank you to all you amazing brave ladies for sharing your journey's on here.. It helped me to finally do this for ME and I feel so much better about myself. :)

Love what your mom said about you looking SO GOOD! Yes, this subtle difference makes a huge impact on a face. I, too, have a long face, and my long philtrum was only adding to it. Now, I’m a new revised lady. Looking in the mirror is more encouraging now. I feel more feminine!! I absolutely noticed that your crease and lines are all history!!! It’s brought you back in time at least 15 yrs!!!! Let’s stick together and fight this menacing Mother Nature. Yeahhhh

Haha.. You're so funny.. I just love you! Yes Mother Nature is menacing but, we are blessed to be growing older. Let's do it together more confident and gracefully. :)

Crease under nose is gone when smiling.
My philtrum is still swollen so, it's hard to smile naturally but, the crease seems to be gone. :). Still not enough tooth show.. Bummer!

I have that weird crease too. Had a full face lift & nose job. Dr made a Cupid bow & is crooked so disappointed as I didn't ask for that. Seeing him soon so will ask if he can remedy it. Hope he doesn't charge me as was his mistake. He is doing Tummy Tuck for me in Nov

It seems like the swelling does dissipate after awhile, and that lovely little tooth should will suddenly appear. It’s like magic. You’ll be looking in the mirror shortly and BOOM there’s those pearly whites making their debut. Ha ha. Enjoy your sexy smile and show those teeth off! That shorter philtrum is sooooo feminine on your face

Thank you!! Yes and I'm still hopeful for more tooth show as I heal! It seems like things get a little better each day and tho I still feel like my philtrum is a little longer than I'd like I'm still happy with my result this far!
