WORTH IT

I had nipple reveal day! And things went lovely! Everything is healing nicely and I am in such little pain.

I am also 11 days post op but had a follow up by day 8 where the steristrips were removed. Everything looked great. Is this what you mean by nipple reveal day?

haha it is! My boyfriend had top surgery and his doctor called his nipple reveal day, and that just struck me as a great way of describing it!

4-7 day update

For some reason, 2 of my pictures wouldn't post. Here is a 4 day post op photo and 7 day post op photo of the incision under breast.
Was warned that at the meeting of the incisions, there could be openings, but thus far, that hasn't been a problem!

Thank you for sharing your journey thus far! The site really has been very helpful in preparation… But as much as you can prepare. I just had my surgery yesterday and so far have been doing very well. I haven’t taken any pain medicine yet today and it’s already 11 o’clock Eastern. So far things are going well but of course I’m only less than a day out. It’s so nice to see what to expect as the days go on through your post. Thank you so much. By the way if you don’t mind me asking, how old are you?

I saw another reviewer say that some of her pictures wouldn't post, either! I'm going to alert our product team--sounds like a bug. Could you let me know if you were using the app, or just our mobile or desktop site?

1 week post op. Healing up nicely so far! Leaking has stopped. Some of the incision tape has started to come off but I still wear gauze on all incisions every day.
Have my follow up appointment on day 8.
