Femilift... 38 and in need of vag tightening

ORIGINAL POST

38 and in need of vag tightening

So I had my first Femlift yesterday.
I booked a consultation after much research and took the plunge.
The Dr said I should see a change after 3 sessions but I may need to opt for surgery.
The thing is I don't have a bulge, no inconvenience at all, not even when laughing, skipping or doing burpees. I believed it was just weakness, but he said he feels I won't be able to strengthen them myself.
Well before I opt for surgery and have to take 6 weeks out of gym I'm determined to try my best first. In conjunction with Femlift I've just bought an Elvie Kegal to monitor my strength (or weakness in my case!) (And now realise I've not been doing my Kegals correctly) all these years of neglecting my pelvic floor!! Shameful

I had my son 15 years ago and felt a small change "down there" but nothing overly drastic. 6years ago I took up weight training and whilst it's made amazing changes to my body I've recently notice a massive change in my Vag. I can feel my index finger inside myself but it's not snug and I can't squeeze. I've not had a sexual partner in 3years but I always orgasmed and he always complimented me. So I'm thinking it's not just childbirth but maybe the heavy squats and deadlifts that has contributed?! (And of course not strengthening my pelvic floor)
So I thought I need to do something about this!!
Had my first treatment yesterday, felt tight and snug last night but back to normal today (although I'm not expecting miracles of course).

I used my Kegle for the first time yesterday and my LV strength was at 2.2 before I went for my Femlift and is at 2.4 today.

Im going to keep you all updated every 3 days, not sure if anyone is even interested but it's nice to be able to talk. I can't tell any of my friends as I feel so embarrassed and ashamed.

Catch up on Monday

Di you had any discharge at all?

Yes, I had lots! I still have some today but no where near as much. Did you have the procedure too?

Yes, itswollen been a week and I had some for at least 4 days I was so worried as it was not normal to me. But my NP mentioned that as long there was no pain, fever or odor it was normal. Mine went away after 5 days.

Yeah I'm on day 4 now so it should subside. My NP said it takes 4/5 days too. May I ask if you've seen a positive effect yet? Are you having 3 sessions too?

Yes, I will be having 3 sessions, a month apart.
I actually did have some good results. I was having some mild incontinence before procedure and now I can tell that it's almost gone.
My partner said it was very tight :)
I did notice more lubrication.
I can actually say that I am very pleased with the results.

Oh wow I'm so happy for you!! I don't have a partner so it's difficult to judge but feel confident with the finger test lol. I'd love it if you could keep me updated with your progress :)

Update 1

KindKitty
So over the weekend I experienced mild period pain which strangely I quite liked, I saw it as a positive sign that my body was reacting and healing from the procedure. (Maybe I'm just too hopeful and clutching at straws.. obviously not with my VJJ though hahha)
I have been doing my Kegals religiously (4 times a day) and my VLs is up to 3.2, a loooong way to go but at least I'm trying. What I will say is that I can now feel a slight clench which as I said I couldn't feel before, literally not even a pulse. 3 days after the procedure I'd say that isn't too shabby. Also I found an amazing guy online that talks about women lifting heavy and pelvic floor, he really made my problem make sense. I now know what I've been doing wrong. https://barbellrehab.com/lifting-weights-pelvic-floor-dysfunction/
Obviously I'm not blaming my training, but I'm convinced it contributed.

I'll keep you updated!

Update2. Day 7

KindKitty
Ok, so after 7 days my V-JJ feels completely different. Not only can I feel the walls wrapped around my finger, and quite snuggly too, I can actually feel myself gripping my finger, not as tightly as I'd like but it's getting there! Any improvement is a bonus, right?! When I'm seated or standing I can feel the walls of my vagina touching each other. Especially the opening.
I'm still doing my Kegals 4 times a day, the LVs is still at 3.2 and sometimes drops to 1.5 but I read that it's perfectly normal to fluctuate considerably, daily. But I can certainly feel I'm doing them better and correctly.
Also, in the mirror I can visually see a difference, there's no relaxed opening, I have to push out hard to see the opening actually.. well.. open!
I'm excited about the next treatment, if there's an improvement after 7days then I feel positive that after 3 treatments and 3 months there will be a considerable change.
Actually I can't wait to try out my new
V-JJ and take it for a spin! Haha
