Mommy Makeover - Federal Way, WA

Had an appointment today for my first ultrasound massage therapy. This appointment was suppose to last for an hour however had to be cut short due to a malfunction with the ultrasound machine. The office will call me with the new day to come in. I explained to the office staff that I would have to have a late afternoon appt if next week and they said it shouldn't be a problem. The technician kept apologizing but I was ok. Tawny (nurse) had to see me as well to remove my sutures from my breast. it didn't hurt at all. I also had her look at my tummy tuck incision. There has been a small leak from the incision. Tawny clean and put some antibiotic cream and placed a band aid on it. She said its normal and just to keep clean and keep putting cream. Dr. Stride would like me to return to office in two weeks, so I will be returning then. I was given a $50 coupon off a facial for the inconvenience of ultrasound machine. Very nice gesture... I honestly feel that everyone at Puget Sound are so nice and friendly. They make me feel so welcome every time I go there. Tawny also shared with me that I am healing so well and fast. It was nice of her to share with me this info because it has been such a difficult journey. I feel so bipolar ... some days I feel awesome..other days I feel horrible and so down. Tawny also told me that my implants still are dropping and will start looking me round and will project out as it drops. it's a slow process and patience is the key since my fold was so constricted. After my appt I ended up at the mall to buy a new bra and a few things that are stretchy. I am a full D cup now and actually am very happy with the size. Very happy with the tummy tuck and just love my new belly button. As far as the lipo, well I do have to say it goes hand in hand with the tummy tuck. my waist and flanks look awesome. I still have lots of swelling and it's very bumpy.. more on my flanks. I will continue to be patient and massage it gently as instructed. A very good day today!! oh yeah.. slept in my bed and it was awesome. didn't quite sleep flat and had pillows under my knees but more sleep then in the recliner. day by day it does get better.

Having a bad day today. Hubby was able to take me to Walmart this morning to buy essentials for the house. After shopping for an hour, back started to ache and tummy incision started to feel like it was stretching. Felt very uncomfortable! Got home and was exhausted! I'm kind of stressed because I have to return back to work on Monday. I don't know if I am ready...physically! I'm also trying to stay off the oxy codone, but ended up taking one 5 mg today to help with pain. I also kept crying today. I can't stand this feeling anymore... I can't even shave me arm pits or my legs! I can't even soap my feet in the shower. My husband has to help me! I just feel useless!

Finally my drain was removed! In case some of you were not aware, I originally only had one drain from the beginning that was located at my pubic area. I took 2 pain pills (10 mg oxycodone) before my appointment. I was pretty nervous of the pain when the drain was removed, but it wasn't too bad... more of a burning sensation. Doctor removed sutures from the lipo which didn't hurt at all. I have to return on Friday this week to start my ultrasound treatments. It's to help with the swelling. Treatments are usually for an hour. I have been swelling.. some days more than others. it's not too bad.. just uncomfortable! I have been wearing leggings this entire time, so I'm sure my mind will change once I head back to work. After my appointment, I ended up having lunch with my husband. I was able to shop a little at Target; close to an hour. it was nice getting out of the house....
