I was a late bloomer when it came to the O-game, I didn't even know orgasms with a man were possible for me until I was in my late 20's! Once I figured this out, sex became a lot more fun. Unfortunately, I realized the older I got the less responsive my body was becoming and clitoral orgasm (my only means) was becoming practically impossible (even for me alone). The procedure itself was performed by Claire, a very skilled Ob/gyn nurse who kept me comfortable and informed with each of my three treatments. The device itself gets a little warm and she proceeds as tolerated. The goal for me was to tolerate as high a temp as possible for better results, but that was just my personal goal. My first procedure wasn't uncomfortable and if you've ever had a child, the exam table with stirrups is not very daunting any longer. I voiced some concern over an episiotomy scar and uneven labia, which Claire took extra time on, but in all it took about 30-45 minutes. My drive home began to look promising as I noticed a warm tingly sensation inside (which was new!). Orgasm came a little quicker and easier that very evening. The appearance of my labia was markedly improved before I even left the office. The second procedure was a month later, and I made the mistake of using nair that morning prior to me 5pm appointment. Bad idea, I wasn't able to tolerate temperatures very well for the second procedure due to too much sensitivity from using a chemical dipilatory. No nair 5 days prior to procedures ladies! Procedure three was approximately one month after the second, and I was able to tolerate higher temperatures during that time (thank goodness). Claire continued to concentrate on my areas of concern and also did a wonderful job of applying generous amounts of lidocaine gel for my O-shot that would be administered when she finished. All in all, I've been quiet pleased with the results of the TermiVa and my goals of increased lubrication, increased sensation, even labia, and more achievable orgasms have been met. I never went into this with huge hopes to avoid unnecessary disappointment, but I must say that a vaginal orgasm would be an amazing bonus and there has been a lot more sensation in that area recently so I'm hopeful! I'll keep you posted! After each procedure I did notice a clear discharge with small flecks of white for approximately two days each time, this is completely normal and has to do with the heat on the vaginal walls. There is NO downtime with this procedure.
