I'm looking to have lower eyelid surgery w/fat repositioning. Is this the same surgery, did the Dr. put fat into your tear troughs? Wishing you a speedy recovery!

Hi! When is your surgery. Yes, I do believe it is the same and yes he did. My recovery is coming along great. Others can see a difference already and it was a week yesterday!

I just had a similar surgery on the 16th. I also had laser resurfacing under the eyes to help reduce wrinkles after the lower bleph. I'm anxious to follow your post op and wish you the best of luck.

Hi! How is your recovery coming along? I do still have some wrinkles, not nearly as much as before. I want to get laser resurfacing of my face next.

Hi - there I started following your story since my surgery was around the same time. I think days 6,7,8 were the hardest for recovery but then it gets easier! Hope you're doing great and post an update soon!

Hi! My first 3 - 5 days were the worst for me. I had mine done last week (Monday), went back to work yesterday (Monday). It started getting easier for me days 6 & 7.

I can't decide on which Dr. To use. It's between 2 but alot of Drs don't have many pics on this specific procedure (fat repositioning)

I had the under eye bag removal surgery May 12, 2015. I had a lot of bruising and swelling . As of today, I still have brown staining under my eye from the surgery. I haven't been able to enjoy not having the bags because I'm focused on covering the dark circle. Sometimes I regret having the surgery because with out the make up I look like a raccoon by the eyes

Days 2 & 3

This is my first plastic surgery procedure and I'm keeping a level head, so I know results will NOT be immediate and I will not fall apart because of my current appearance...it gets worst before it gets better. So with that being said, days two and three have not been bad. I had a couple of questions, so I called the office and was left on hold for a while, so I just shot Toni a email and she got back to me (no biggie/not an issue for me).
I am swollen and my eyes are bruised. On day three I noticed that when I smile there is pressure in my cheeks and I can't do a full smile yet. Here are pics of days 2 and 3. I will update probably within the next week or so.

Day of SX & Post-Op

I arrived at 7:40am (20 minutes early) for surgery with Dr. Dickerson. I had all my paperwork and post-op instructions given to me days before, so everything was all set. My nurses were Jesse and Toni (two sweethearts) and LaTonya was my "sleep juice lady" and there was another young lady assisting, but I forgot her name (she was very pretty, soft spoken young lady and very polite).
Jesse told me my blood pressure was high, but I'm guessing it was because I was SO NERVOUS that I only slept 2 or 3 hours the night before and I had recently (stopped taking blood pressure meds, but things went good. I got changed into my gown, Dr. Dickerson (with his flyy self) came in and we chatted briefly, he gave me some numbing injections in my cheek and eye areas. He used this little wand that had a light and a buzzer as a distraction tool, which was good, but I have this unusual "ticklish" thing going on, on my right side an jumped a little, not because it hurt, but because the sound of the tool tickles me. (WEIRD - I KNOW). Getting the injections wasn't bad at all, we chatted a bit while he did them. He asked if I was okay and said "bad doctor", "bad doctor" as he stuck me, but I let him know it didn't hurt.

After LaTonya got finished putting me on the IV and asking a few questions, I was escorted to the OR and got on the table. Jesse put the monitor on my finger and as the ladies were moving about prepping for surgery, in a low voice, I began to pray for everyone there and the doctor that all minds were clear, hearts receptive, hands steady, any spirit of distraction, confusion and error bound up in the name of Jesus, that He come into the midst of this OR because w/out Him there is no success, with Him ALL things are possible and I trust Him to be in control of our success. I asked Him to bless the doctor, his staff and their families...by this time, LaTonya said she gave me something and OFF I WENT!
I don't remember hardly anything right after surgery. I vaguely remember eating goldfish crackers and sipping a soda through a straw and somebody asking me something and I just said "Yup, hmm, mmm.". I remember I had on my Spanx and clothes after and wondered, how did I get my clothes on so fast?? I remember being wheeled to the car, I think it was Toni that took me out to the car. My son drove me home (we live about 1 1/2 hours away) he said I directed him on how to get out of the office park and to the highway and said I was texting and then when we got home, I laid in bed with all my clothes AND SUNGLASSES on and I fell asleep holding my phone...I have NO MEMORY OF THIS WHATSOEVER! But I did find a picture I text my bestie who was checking on me after surgery, so that's proof that I was somewhat alert, but just don't remember. So for the rest of the evening I just slept. This is the day of/after SX when I got home about
