Dr. Edward Dickerson Scarred Me for Life

$500

Dr. Dickerson scarred my chest right in thr middle of my decollete, and he would not take responsibility for it. He saw that I had a red spot there beforehand but did not exercise due diligence in treating me. I know he will remove this review, but I will keep posting because this is something I live with everyday. TOTALLY NEGLIGENT!!!

Terrible, Traumatizing and Scarred for Life!!!

RUN!!! Do not believe these reviews. Dr. Dickerson performed a blepharoplasty on me six years ago and left me with nerve damage in one eye. He also did a chemical peel on my chest, and I have a HUGE scar in the middle of my chest. He was negligent and did not take responsibility. Do not let him touch you.

This is not my comment. I did not write 'Du Kirsten'; I wrote 'Dr. Dickerson" from Fayetteville NC, but since Dickerson is apparently an investor in Real Self, one of his trolls erased his name from my review.
I did not write 'Du Kerstin, but since Dr..Edward Dickerson has his hands in Real.Self, he, most likely, orchestrated that wrong name. DO.NOT LET DR. EDWARD DICKERSON TOUCH YOU!!!
ORIGINAL POST

I consulted Dr. Dickerson about a chemical peel...

I consulted Dr. Dickerson about a chemical peel for my chest area, which was sun-damaged. He assured me that I would love the results. I asked him if the photo-dynamic therapy I had received four months prior would affect the peel, and he said he did not know what that was. When I told him, he really only half-listened but said it would have no bearing. To make a long story short, he burned me badly, and left me severely scarred with a hideous white spot right in my plunge area. When I questioned him about this, he simply said that I signed a waiver, so it's my responsibility.

Thank you for sharing your experience withe the community.

Dr Dickerson, And what exactly is photo-dynamic therapy? I'm an esthetician and don't recognize a treatment by that name? Could she be referring to a photo facial? IPL?
Photodynamic therapy is a procedure to kill pre-cancerous cells. You can (and may want to) google it if this is your profession (or related to your profession). It's commonly referred to as PDT and it's often covered by insurance, at least the activating chemical is. I had it once but I don't think it's promoted much - in candor because you need a blue light or activating light, the chemical is expensive and unless you have the blue light you have to use a hand held IPL type of process which is time consuming so I don't think there's much margin for the facility (just my conclusion).
I agree... I have put a not so nice review out here on him and it gets missing or he has his goonies keep posting positive ones to over run the ones that tell the truth about him
He can't hide behind a waiver. An attorney could help with that. I'm sorry to hear about the scarring.
Why is he on Real Self?
