Hi! I'm scheduled for surgery on February 22nd. I'm 5'9" & 120lbs, very lean & lift fairly heavy 6-7 days a week. I have always been pretty flat chested but nursing my second daughter for over a year really sucked everything out of me lol. I'm very anxious and excited for this and hopeful for a quick recovery! I know it's going to be hard to take down time from the gym but I'm prepared for it. My husband is currently deployed and will be getting back when I'm four weeks post surgery so hopefully he likes his coming home present ;)

Pre-op & size chosen!

Had my pre-op appointment today with Dr Herring. The size we initially talked about was 250-300cc saline unders, today we've finalized the decision for 325cc ???? I didn't want anything huge or super fake looking, I just want to be proportionate, as I'm 5'9" and pretty lean. I also don't want it to interfere terribly with my weight lifting. I'm getting very excited and a little nervous but that's to be expected! I'm very happy with the chosen size. Can't wait to see them on me for real! Surgery is this coming Wednesday morning!

Nerves are kicking in!

My surgery is on Wednesday, it's now Monday afternoon. My house is spotless, childcare and me care is arranged, I have freezer meals ready and plenty of protein shakes and healthy snacks prepped as well. TMI for some maybe but I started a stool softener yesterday because I've read about so many women having trouble with that after surgery. Thought maybe it'd help things along to start now. I'll be picking my meds up tomorrow morning and start the antibiotic tomorrow night! I can't believe I have such a short time until this happens. I'm very excited and I think I've mentally prepared myself as much as possible for this post surgery business so hopefully everything goes smoothly. I'm just ready to get it over with! Tomorrow will be my last day in the gym for a while and that's something I'm truly sad for lol. I love my gym time. But even if I can't do anything, I'll go to support my workout partner since I'm leaving her in the middle of a pretty tough lifting program. If anything I can walk laps! I finally got brave enough to take some before pictures because I know I'll want to do comparisons afterward...it's so sad how I have a gap in a 32a push upbra from VS. the bralette is a small from AE & the swimsuit is an XS from target. Of all three I just really hope the bralette still fits after haha. I love those things. I suppose I'd be considered a AA bra size, but to be honest I've never even seen one of those. Sigh. My days on the itty bitty [RS bleep] committee are coming to an end, and I couldn't be happier. Just this morning I had a harsh reminder of why this was even something I wanted in my life: a friend from college saw a Snapchat I posted of a shirt with a funny phrase & said "you have the curves of an 8th grade girl" :( yeahhh, I know. Thanks. I was teased sooo much in junior high and all through high school about being flat chested. Asked if I was a boy; called flat chested forever; asked if I was anorexic; kids are so mean. I actually have built quite a nice butt in the gym but there's not a lot you can build on your chest haha. Soon! Soon I'll have some fluff there :)
How exciting for you! I hear your complaint quite often...pregnancy and working out pretty much ruin breasts! Glad you'll take a break from the gym...it will be worth it. Once you return to the gym, maybe just focus on lower body for a while too, giving your breasts plenty of time to settle in. Feel free to join the February 2017 breast augmentation surgery forum.
