I don't expect awesome results. I know my situation is a bit trickier than some cases so, I just want to not look lopsided. I HOPE it's better than that but, I'm not expecting to really see a good result for 3 or 4 months. I've been waiting for a year to see if my lump would go away without any luck. So now I'm planning on heading to surgery.

I'm on the books. I'm freaking out a bit. I'm supposed to meet with the dr. in 2 weeks. My mind has been racing all day. It's selfish of me. do I need it? I don't need to. What if ? I do need it. It's up to me. Is this the right thing to do?!

My husband said we would talk when he gets home but, I know what he'll say. It's my choice.
Ugh!!!!!! way to take the backseat on it?!

Just from looking at the pics on this site, it looks like it would really be good if my Dr. worked with my skin fold on the side (as a guide) and it would be best if he cut lower on the pubic area. One very possible issue is, when looking at his pics today, it looks like he just goes hip bone to hip bone pretty much straight.

It's this kind of person to person difference which I hope a PS would have but, I don't know exactly why different PS do different shaped cuts?

That's one thing I will for sure talk with him about and I'm going to really urge him to in completely shameless fashion show what he's basically going to do. pull her, suction here? What if he can't pull the lump down and just cut it off? Would he then lipo it? or by hand remove some fat from that area? or just pull extra hard on the skin and be ok with some lump remaining? how does he decide if the skin is pulled too tight? Is he lipo ing on what's needed or by a fixed amount pre decided?
