How it works
  • Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
  • This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
  • Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
  • Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

I am a 45 year old divorcée, 4 kids, 3 of them grown, the baby is 12, I became a mother at the age of 15, so I lost my flat stomach then, for the past 10 years I have researched this surgery, but was afraid, before my 45th Birthday I scheduled my tummy tuck for 4/17/17 with Dr. Bolling in Fayette, AL, I had a full tummy tuck with MR/ and liposuction of the flanks, thanks to this site I was prepared for everything

Swell hell

Yesterday I went for 1st post op with ps, he said everything was good, still have my surgery tape in place, he pulled one drain, I was glad of that, my abdomen is really swollen and hard, tight, and very warm to touch, he said it's fine, I have worn my compression garment 24/7 since surgery only taking it off to shower and wash it, but tonight I am sleeping without is that a good idea? The garment has caused some indenting on both sides, because of the swelling plus i swell more later in the evening and experienced difficulties breathing, doctor said that will stop in time also, has a lot to do with my muscle repair

10 days post-op still not walking straight

Still not walking upright yet half way there though, I still use my walker for back support, some swelling has went down but not much, I tried to sleep without my binder last night but it didn't work, felt better in it, and I am still sleeping in my recliner, cut back on the pain meds after day two, I will take a half of a 7.5 Norco with a half of my muscle relaxer and it last all day, gonna go for a little outting today hopefully I want get tired easily, This is day 10 post op for me thought I would be able to go to work Monday, but I'm still not straight enough, but anyways, Happy Thursday Dolls, will post pictures later
