Provider Review
I'm a black female from the UK and decided to get my rhinoplasty done with Dr. Fazah Fatal in Birmingham, UK. He's a very respected surgeon, and I have not seen a bad word said against him on here or any other site. I had my consultation with him in late January and the following week booked my surgery for March 15th (which was yesterday.) At the consult, I asked him not to bring in the bridge too much. I also requested a subtle tip refinement and an alar base reduction. He told me he will give me a new nose to fit my face and not do anything to compromise the ethnic structure. This is all I needed to hear. I've seen reviews on here, where the doctor has tried to talk the patient into doing things they didn't want or ask for. In worse case scenarios, the doctor went ahead and did things during theater that the patient didn't consent to! I can assure you, Dr. Fatah is not like this at all. Yes, I asked for subtle, but he's worked on three areas of the nose so the changes will still be somewhat noticeable. I can already see it's smaller even with the cast on. As for how the procedure went, it went by so fast. I checked myself in at 9am, and by 10am I was already in theatre! They don't mess about over there! There was no complications during my procedure and it only lasted TWO hours. By 12:30pm I was eating and drinking. I was still a little drowsy from the sedation, but was still able to walk about unaided. I was dressed by 1:30pm. And by 2:30pm my mum arrived to take me home. So I was home by 3:00pm, just resting and taking my pain meds. I'll do another update tomorrow, but these are pics of my nose pre-surgery.
