Weight Update Jan. 2022

Since the pandemic I have struggled tremendously. I now weigh over 200 lbs again, this after 8 has passed and only maintaining up to two years since my surgery in 2014. It was in 2019 when my weight took a turn for the worst and weight gain took over do to not being able to go to the gym and lockdown from the COVID-19 takeover.
I just recently got my membership back and I'm now on the road to getting my little body back and my health back on track. I have gained nearly all my weight back, which I started out at 252 in 2014, maintained between 170-180 lbs through to the beginning of 2019, and now I'm looking at 238 lbs since the end of 2019-present. I am so disappointed in myself, but now that I've gotten my gym membership back and I've gotten rid of everything bad in my kitchen, I feel confident that I will return to my weight goal of 170-175 pounds. Realistically speaking. Please pray for me in my new journey to happier, healthier and smaller. Love to everyone on their weight loss journeys and all other endeavors. Love

Weight update 2019
0:02
I was 252 lbs and had gastric sleeve surgery July 2014. It is now nearly 5 years and I am gaining weight and I am scared. I don't eat a lot and I still feel restriction but the weight is coming back. I am now 205 lbs. I lost 100 lbs to 152 lbs so imagine my dilemma. I still look good but the weight gain. I causing me to have anxiety, high blood pressure and sugar issues all over again.

2 years post op VSG

I am now 2 years and a half post op VSG and going strong. I gained 172 lbs back I think because my body was adjusting to so much weight loss. But I'm maintaining my weight at 170 lbs. Highest weight 252, Surgery weight 237.2, Current weight 172, New Goal weight 155 lbs. I am determined to get back down under 160 lbs first and then go on down from there! I did it once and I'll do it again! I have been thrown back into that overly busy lifestyle again to where I don't have much time to exercise and eat right like I should, but I am getting back on track because I promised myself that I wouldn't let this lifestyle change take another turn for the worst again of the surgery be a waste of money. I know there will be times of setback but I won't let it keep me back! Pray for me because this is one hard journey but I'm willing to conquer!

Provider Review

Dr. Christopher J. Northup

Dr. Christopher J. Northup of Mercy Healthy Weight Solution will be my surgeon and is a great Bariatric Surgeon including his entire staff! They interacted with me with great concern and gave great advice before during and after each of my visits and as you all can see, I had plenty of visits at their facility! ;-)
