I've been stalking this site for about a year now. I've always wanted a BA, but I wanted to be sure I was done having children. Well, both kids have been breastfed, and are thriving! So it's time to upgrade the girls! I've chosen to have my BA done by Dr. Alfred Sofer located in Fairfield, CT. The consultation went well, he and his patient coordinator answered all my concerns and questions, he has great credentials, and an impressive case portfolio. My major concerns are capsular construction, infection, bottoming out, double bubble and silicone leakage. He recommends using a textured implant for me because I am small, he said there is less of a chance for capsular contraction with textured and said it has a better chance of staying in place because of the texture. My pre-op is on August 29th!!!

You remind me of ME. I just had my BA on Monday 8/15. I'm 5 days post-op. I am 5'1 & 106lbs. I feel mixed emotions after my surgery. Everything feels big, stiff & heavy. I must say that part of me is maybe mourning the loss of my little droopy boobies. Mine looked like yours. I don't regret having my BA. I just want to prepare you for the emotional roller coaster you might feel after yours. Make sure that your surgeon knows exactly what you want. I asked for a small upgrade. I wanted to end up a B/C cup. He didn't allow me to pick the cc before surgery because he chooses based on what my body needs during the procedure. I am trying to get used to their presence. I like feeling petite and these new additions take some of that away. I am listening to what everyone says about being patient (which I am not) because my implants need time to 'drop' and 'fluff'. I'm reading mixed messages on whether that means they will actually appear smaller or larger. The upper 'poor' of my breast is very full and this makes them look very fake. Again I need to be patient with this process and I just hope I end up being the size I really wanted.

I think I might feel the same way after I get my BA. I say that because I had juvederm injected in my lips a few months back and immediately regretted it. I felt like I looked so different. Inguessbits just because I'm so used to seeing the same proportions everyday and when I got a little extra it just threw me off. Now I LOVE my lips and will definitely keep them up. But it took a good month for me to get used to them. I always wanted a BA but I do think I may feel self conscious for a hit afterwards. I just hope I have no complications. I just checked out your post and I think they look totally normal for only 5 days post. Most women have swelling on the top that takes a few weeks to go away. I will definitely follow you, as I'm sure they will settle nicely!!! Thanks for your comment! I have been searching for women with similar portions as me. What type of implants did you get???

Moderate profile saline 275 with added fill to the right 330cc. Today is day 6. Pain has significantly decreased. Trying to get thru the day w/o pain meds since they were tearing up my stomach. I'm still very high. They still feel too big. Every tank top I have makes me look 'busty' which isn't really the look I was going for. I'm hiding it with cardigans. I just wanted to fill up my deflated balloons. I'm sure I just need to adjust. I also had a filler injected under my eyes. We are alike!

So the size I'm going with is 305cc Sientra textured moderate plus. Surgery date is Sept. 9th. This is getting too real! Nervous and excited!

Very exciting for you! So close now! Are you getting nipple work done as well? I am a month post-op and had implants to bring back the lost volume as well as reduce the size of my breastfeeding nipples.

Hi!! No in not getting nipple work done. My nipples sink in right now because of loss of volume but I'm hoping they'll be fine once the implants are in place.
