All is well. IMPORTANT THING TO CONSIDER WHEN GET THING SURGERY...
it's almost Thanksgiving now... i'm still healing... and things are going well. the surgery itself went well but I had a complication afterwards with an infection. I posted recent pics for you to see... I wanted to make sure ladies saw that there is light at end of tunnel if an infection does in fact occur. It's does get really difficult to stay positive while you're in the mix of things though... the doubt settles in... all that etc. but, with support... and good medical care I made it through just fine. I can't stress enough how import good medical care is. MY PS was very attentive... saw me in his office 2x/week during the worst part of this... and not less then 1x/week with a wound like I had. He monitored me closely. it really is important to have a good PS when opting for elective surgery like this because sometimes things like this can happen. If there is onepiece of advice I would give to anyone wanting this type of surgery, my best advice would be to REALLY do your homework in terms of finding a good surgeon... one that will not only take good care of you while in the OR but also be available for aftercare and not brush you off should any complications arise. it made all the difference (for me) having an accessable / knowledgeable / vested surgeon.
Overall, I would do it again in a heartbeat... despite the infection and despite that I'm assymetrical and one breast is a bit higher than the other. Good luck to all the ladies with upcoming surgeries!!!

patience with healing...
I've been on antibiotics now for nine days. Tomorrow will be last day. I've uploaded some recent pictures. I've seen my surgeon twice in the last week and my next appointment is this Friday again. he sees me often to monitor this. I don't see any changes... other than the wound is far more red, a bit bloodier than before... but that's a good thing I'm told. However, the icky green stuff isn't great... so it might need to again be cleaned out (ouch)! I go bra less while at home cuz it just hurts to wear anything. My other breast is losing out too on the support of a bra I'm supposed to be wearing at this time after surgery. I'm still with the neosporin and gauze twice a day... Im so thankful I have good medical care. Am so fortunate and grateful for that.! thank you for everyone's kind words and support.... I appreciate it. just trying to stay positive!
Infection at the Inverted T site
I am almost one month post op now... and have been dealing with increasing discomfort with horizontal incision on my one breast that had some slight reduction. Despite my best efforts, it has been getting worse and worse. You can see from my pics how bad this has gotten. My surgeon and his office staff are very receptive and following my closely thank God... but at this point I have to admit... Im feeling defeated, a little depressed, second guessing my decision to do this... etc. I am thrilled with the breast lift itself... but I have a difficult time looking at myself in the mirror now. I look in complete horror... at this open wound.... and just want to crawl under a rock.
I am now on two different antibiotics for ten days, in a lot of discomfort, neosporin, and changing gauze twice a day. Surgeon is telling me this will heal... it will just take time. I don't know if I have the mental resolve for this though.
