Telangiectasia FACIAL SPIDER VEINS TREATED BY Dr. Newman VEINWAVE Thermocoagulation/sclerotherapy

Absolutely amazing experience at Dr.Newman Clinic. I have been troubled for years by large red spider veins on my face - mainly around nose, on chin and scattered over cheeks. These can be hereditary, genetic, or caused by hormonal changes...pregnancy and menopause. At the age of 58 mine were really beginning to get me down, and I decided to seek treatment. My face always looked red and inflamed, and I could never hide them even with heavy makeup. My consultation took ten minutes and the procedure took twenty minutes. The doctor can only treat a certain amount of skin at a time. After the procedure, my veins had genuinely disappeared. However, I was warned that the skin itself can take around a week to settle. During the procedure it felt like a tiny bee sting over and over again, it was more than bearable - although around the nose was slightly uncomfortable and made me sneeze. A nickel tipped needle is used to cauterise the vein. After the procedure the areas treated were very red and it felt like severe sunburn. This feeling went after two hours. For the next few days I had slight weeping and crustiness, like when you get a spot. I cleansed with aloe vera and used plain moisturiser. After 24 hours I was able to cover the redness with mineral makeup. After one week, I have NO SPIDER VEINS!!! I It is miraculous. I have chosen to go back for one more treatment on some of the veins around my nostrils which the doctor did not have time to treat. I was told I may need more than one treatment. I have seen people who have had laser to remove veins and have been left scarred. I have no idea why this Clinic is not better known as I could not have asked for a better result.
