I’ve decided to leave this review, as I didn’t see many reviews for smaller procedures with Dr Bray, and it would have helped me a lot when when researching. It has now been a full year since my Upper Blephoroplasty, so I had the time to fully heal and reflect on the results. In short, I love the results and wish I had done this sooner.
A bit of background about me, I’m 34 years old now (33 at surgery time), and while I don’t have major age-related sagging, I’ve always had genetic hooded eyes. While I think hooded eyes can look beautiful on some people, I felt they made me look grumpy and tired, and felt heavy.
My experience with Dr Bray and his staff has been nothing but amazing. Everyone is very friendly and professional. Dominic’s bedside manner is very pleasant, he truly is a kind and caring surgeon, and I felt he had my best interests in mind as he tried to talk me out of the surgery!
As for my results, they look subtle and natural, yet I definitely see a difference, which is exactly what I wanted. A year on, I have no lasting side effects from the surgery, and the scars are completely invisible. Apart from the initial swelling and bruising, I experienced dry eyes for around 3 months, which is not ideal when you have to work at a computer all day, but can be remedied with eye drops.

Your results look nice. May I ask though what's on your face? Is it some oil or salve you had to wear to prepare/ heal for/from surgery? If so, did it help with your outcome?

Thank you! It was just some greasy sunscreen on my face before the surgery haha, which I normally powder, but I was told you are not supposed to wear any makeup on the day.
After the surgery, you cannot use that much on the area other than the antibiotic ointment you are given and some Vaseline/Aquaphor which I find helps heal better. Hope this helps.
I loved ter results. Só natural qnd can totally . You look more alive..not sure this is the right word to say. I am Brazilian sometimes is hard to find the right word. U look stunning. I am planning to go on a consultation for a minifacelift with him soon. I am 35 years old and was good to read your review here
Thank you very much :-) Your English is very good! I think a natural result is Dominic’s speciality from what I’ve seen. At least no one from my friends or family noticed I had the surgery, they only say I look good :D He showed me a couple of before and after for mini facelift during the consult. There was a lady around the age of 40, was a great natural result. Good luck if you decide to go ahead with it! You are very young though, I must say

I believe she had the procedure done at least 6 or 7 years ago and still very happy with the results. She's in her mid-50s. She looks great!

no my eyes are no better very hollow and unnatural , a constant grey fluid in my right eye . but i've had to learn to live with it.. i now own more sunglasses than elton john i'll never trust a plastic surgeon again. you are one of the lucky ones

You do look beautiful and I'm glad you are pleased with your results. I have a couple of questions if you don't mind. You said that Dr Bray tried to talk you out of the surgery but he obviously agreed to it in the end. What do you think swayed him against his initial judgement and second, did any other surgeons refuse you for surgery before you went to Dr Bray?
Thank you :-) Sure, happy to answer any questions! Dr. Bray said I didn’t need the surgery and my eyes were not as bad as I thought. His point was the surgery is always a risk, no matter how qualified the surgeon is, and the results might be quite subtle for that level of risk. I really appreciated his honesty. However, he agreed to do it as there was about 4 mm of loose skin on my eyelids, measured by him. Ultimately, it was my decision. My hooded eyes have always been an insecurity of mine. I haven’t seen any other surgeon, might have been a good idea.
Do you know someone who had a surgery with Dr Dominic? How did u find him?
I don’t know anyone else personally who has had surgery with Dr Bray, I found him though reviews here. Many surgeons have good reviews, but often they are short and without any photos, so that would always make me wonder. With Dr Bray, there are many very detailed reviews, which I think is very helpful to see what kind of results you can get and how long the recovery is. Good luck with your procedure! I personally think Dr Bray is one of the best surgeons, but it has to be right for you first and foremost.
