At 58, I did not recognize the woman in the mirror. My face had lost all of its fat pads and I had so much loose skin. I had done things over the years such as Ultherapy and sculptra but was ready for a bigger change. I decided I wanted to do everything at once since there was so much laxity. I wanted my face to look balanced and felt having all of my concerns addressed at the same time would achieve my goals. I had a full facelift, bleph, and CO2 laser.

These decisions are very personal and I interviewed several surgeons before choosing Dr. Whitaker. She has a way of putting you at ease from the first meeting, very calming and thorough in her consultation. All of my questions were answered and I was able to ask follow-up questions as I prepared for the procedure. Dr. Whitaker's credentials are impressive. I found the staff great to work with as well. 

Preparation deserves some comments. I had no idea how much help I was going to need. Thankfully, I had a friend who could stay with me for most of the week. There was quite a bit of swelling and I couldn't see very well. I had plenty of soft foods and liquids on hand. Pain wise, I only used a couple of the pain meds and then Tylenol as needed.
