Very bad they aftercare. He does not acknowledge any mistakes. Tells me that it's too soon to get a CT scan. I'll get another in a year and I'll show you where the hole in my forehead has refilled itself.Not only he didn't remove my old fillers that did a poor job in my forehead where you can see it's not rounded enough. Also, a big hole left uncovered. He tells me that that's not a hole. Far from suggesting fixings and explaining., He dismissed my concerns as. Other specialists suggest take all the cement from the sinus and put a part of the collar bone to cover the quite apparent hole.

I'm so sorry! I've also had surgery at 2pass (medpor face implants) still debating on the forehead recontouring..
I've wanted to let you know that I had a skull fracture (near my sinus) from smashing my head with great force into a blunt object. This resulted in an open fracture but healed by time (have some optical deformity but my skull is fine apart from that)
Had some little issues recovering from my medpor implants so I can really understand your frustration and fear but give it some time.. My fracture took months too heal so maybe this can fix on its own.

No it won't heal. Ther is still a lot of bone missing. Same as two months ago. And you can see one brow lower and the forehead is been poorly shaved. I cannot still understand how can give a hole not fully covered.

Really sorry to hear that. Which procedures did you have. Only forehead reconstruction or more like rhino or liplift? Which forehead reconstruction type did you went through (type 1, type 2 or type)?

Yes . Rinoplasty and forehead type 3. Ther are lots of irregularitties.
I am going to save 15 000 and go to facial team. I'm sure the money is worth spent there.

I assume that CT scan is post-op? Wow, so much for symmetry. Perhaps Dr. Bart can explain why you still have a hole in your glabella? He should fix that.

Dr Bart Van de Ven did responded almost all my emails but I wanted more explanations and solutions.
I didn't intent to harm his reputation in any way but I felt like he didn't aknolaged there was something to be repaired.
I am 60 % satisfied with the results but the uneveness borders me a lot still. He promised to fix everything so I might give him the chance to.
I hope it is all due to misscounication..and we can end up in good terms.
I look more feminine than before but it shoul be be more security measures in please so you don't end app with complications.
Here is an before and after picture. But remember that under a beam of light you can see the hole and all.
Eventually we had the Skype consultation and he aknolaged there is something to be repaired. A forehead recounting type 3 again.

I had fat grafting, forehead and nose all botched. When I complained to this surgeon he was annoyed but agreed to do a revision and guess what he botched them again. He injected the fat in the same area where I had lumps from the first lipofilling, for example. I told him clearly my issue with it yet he did the exact same thing out of spite. That's why I don't recommend going to him for revision as if he messed you up the first time, he will do it again the second time. He is an odd ball and seems to botch patients if he doesn't like you. I'd really advise against going to him for initial or revision surgery of any kind. There are far better surgeons out there who produce consistent results and are very safe.

Yes.. we were arguing and it's possible that I cancel my fixing, not revision. He said he will fix. He sold me a type 3 forehead which is more expensive than a type 3 and he did a type 1 with some cement . So he tells me that he left some bone over my sinus and disappeared through healing.
But I didn't ask for type 3. He did agins my will , he said to save me the strange body, but I wanted the extra he body, the cement. I wanted a rounded and solid forehead.
So he did what he wanted , and the consent form says that he can turn. Style 1 into type o
3 but not the other way around

So he didn explained any more as why he was only going to add cement this time without removing any bone, which is quite weird since my forehead needs another recontoring.
Even when o was up to go , he ignored me completely.
Maybe he offered the fixing for free to convince to change my comments here, which he did.
Never in my live though a surgeon could do these lies in surgery, selling one type of forehead and then messing it up and then playing ,even playing to appease the coments

We regret to read this review. May we point to you that all the mails you have sent us were properly answered? Time is indeed a huge factor when it comes to recovery, which can take up several months. Therefore, post-op consultations are usually scheduled about 4 or 5 months after surgery. You had your operation in december 2020, you’re still recovering and your post-op consultation is planned for April. In the meantime, your body needs to heal and it is often too soon to evaluate before that. In addition, the recovery period etc. has been mentioned before your surgery. As a result, this review seems rather premature or untimely.

I'm not a doctor, but I've had plenty of surgery, including this procedure. Do you know what would go a long way here? Try saying this to her --"You're right, the center of your forehead looks kind of wonky based on that picture you posted. If that remains a problem, We need to address it when you return. I look forward to seeing you in person, so we can figured out what happened and make you look beautiful".
