Always struggled with my masculine features, couldn't ever go out in public without makeup even though I passed very well, I was subconsciously insecure. Wanted to put my self doubt to an end and started researching.

(I am writing this in retrospect)The day of surgery, Dr Saxon had me stay at the surgery center. At first I thought do I even need the extra expense but I followed her instructions and hands down the best option for me. First off let me tell you this was like a VIP suite, super cozy and comfortable, a couch and a recliner and all that. I had a nurse attend to me every hour after surgery checking my vitals, bringing me meds, chatting with me and answered all my questions and that was very reassuring. I really felt good and looked forward to the next day. I would have stayed a Couple more days but I felt super high energy with all the care I received, so much so that I was up and walking around the room and walking out to the patio. 7am they brought me breakfast, soft food, a smoothie, Ice cream. Omg I did not want to leave this place.

I Thought one of the kind nurses would help me out the door to a cab and that’s that, remember I was still numb and groggy, I had no idea or remembered anything that was said to me ????, I know they had told me Dr Saxon would come visit with me, I was like; sure!Around 9am my dear Doc Saxon walks in looking all Gorgeous and I was like this is a dream. Jokes aside. She is really very compassionate and super comfortable with you. Talking to her always feels like I’ve known her for sometime. She cleaned and changed my bandages herself, we talked about what to expect, and medications and recovery and some funny stories from surgery that really put me at ease. She explained again all the things that were done on me and if everything went according to plan and better. She had arranged for a pick up and drop off to my hotel so I was looking forward to getting out and doing things even though I looked like a mummy.

Around noon my ride comes along and the nurse walks knock and come in to find me chilling in my suite all dressed up and chilling on the recliner watching TV, she said I doubt your gonna want a wheel chair, “nope”. I walked out to find my ride, this beautiful Tesla, driver opens the door and sit in and think his is the most positive experience ever. Said my bye’s to the Andrea the nurse and off to a new start. Over all amazed and energized.

Recovery.

Feeling on top of the moon. It’s been over a month and a half since surgery but Let me fill In the blanks for the days after surgery. I recovered unbelievably fast. I was up and driving and running errands on day two. I was not at all in pain, a bit weak and groggy ‘yes’ but I was fairly able to move around and hold my own.
Dr Saxon’s team was constantly in touch with me checking up on me. De’Andra is wonderful, she was so helpful in informing me about best practices. I kept the incision areas clean and moist at all times like Dr Saxon had showed me to. All in all the first 10 days went by like a flash and no worries.
