Just some fotos pre- and post-op

The healing process is mostly emotional, had a lot of depressive episodes in the beginning, the swelling can be pretty brutal and lasts a long time, think you know what I mean. Honestly I was super frustrated with the results for the first 6 months, but over time and the swelling going down I started to enjoy my new face more and more.

FFS with Facial Team, Marbella

I had my FFS on 15.03.2021 so I can evaluate the final results now.
Im not fully satisfied but this is due to my own aesthetical expectations and my unique facial characteristics which need a kinda individual approach and just more than one surgery. However it was absolutely worthing, I'm passing as female and this is the most important aspect.

I underwent following treatments

A) Forehead reconstruction type 3
B) Browbone bossing
C) Open rhinoplasty
D) Otoplasty
E) Jaw contouring
F) Tracheal shave
G) Fat grafting
H) Hair transplantation

A) The work on the Sinus is just great, it's only one piece of bone, no mesh is being used and the bone plate is fixed with only 2 unrecognisable titanium bridges. I love it, one of the best Sinus reconstructions I've ever seen, glad to have it done on me xD

B) Less happy I am with the browbone bossing, although its fantastic work. The bone directly beneath the brows became super soft and feminine, they even surprised me with an opening (shaving) of the orbit itself to make the eyehole bigger. No idea how they did this because there's the supraorbital foramen as well. However I don't have any nerve damaged at the eye.
What im not as happy about is that my fronto-zygomatic process (the lateral rim of the orbit) wasn't touched in any way. I especially asked for a reduction of this to make a smoother transition from the lateral canthus to the temples. In my case the bone is very very protruding, it looks super strange using big eyeliner, like the wings don't go to the sides in direction of the temples but protruding with the lateral orbital rim so that it appears more like a horn than a wing.
However the good news is that nothing is done what the surgeon isn't sure to be able to fullfil.
After numerous consultations with other surgeons I got confirmed that this is quite a tricky area due to the ligaments of the eyelids which are connected to the bones there.
Of course it's safety first but it's kinda sad that they don't offer this "individual" approach so i will have to get opened the forehead again to access this area which already was discovered whilst the first surgery.

C) Unfortunately I wasn't sufficiently informed about the types of nose surgeries existing.
I have a deviated septum and thought it will be fixed in surgery which wasn't the case.

I had some nose bumps on the bridge, on one side there's a tiny bump left, it's slightly visible.
I had very different nostrils, one side long and slim the other short and wide, after surgery they're still slightly different, but far better than before.
As very common in rhinoplasties my alars rised a little bit and i have more nostril exposure now.
However overall it's looking very feminine now but still want to get the bump fixed, the nostrils completely symmetrical, a septoplasty and a alarplasty.
Another thing i noticed is that the tip of the nose became very hard, it's not flexible any longer and i can not push my tip down to the lips like you can with untouched nose tips so... Gonna ask in the follow-up why is that.

D) I had very big ears, they're a lot smaller now but it seems that a bit of cartilage is not fully fused, I gonna add a photo of this. I don't have any severe problems with this, it's kinda invisible if you don't search for it but i worry if my ear could rip off if there's to much tension or so.. idk.. gonna fix it in future.
Overall the ear size reduction was great and gave me feminine ears yay :)

E) the good thing is they shaved as much jawbone as possible, right a mm below the nerve BUT it was only a reduction from beneath the jaw. Would have been nice if they have added a cortical bone shave to reduce the width as well because my jaw is very wide

I'm preparing for a orthognathic double-jaw surgery to fix it because the jaw contouring alone didn't give me the effects I'm looking for.

Want to add: I got a lot of bone removed what caused some saggy skin, I'm 30y old so keep in respect that u may need a facelift afterwards if you're as old or older than me

F) The tracheal shave is just fantastic, the incision was about 12mm wide it completely disappeared already, the Adam's apple is completely flat. Nothing to add, perfect work.

G) To confess the hair transplant was kinda very expensive, guess around 1500 crafts survived from approximately 1800 (for ~9k), guess it's not the best Idea to do a FUT after 15h of surgery. It looks good, people without knowledge about hair transplantation can not noticing it but I'd wish to have some more density.
It was meant to fill the corners, however the complete hairline gone up but think it's also due to the endotines for the the brow lift. Overall i got a bigger forehead but far more feminine hairline.

Facial Team is very experienced, in some treatments I would say unbeatable (forehead reconstruction, tracheal shave), but could i turn back time I honestly would do the hair transplants elsewhere just to save money and to avoid the stress right after surgery.
I also wouldn't do the rhinoplasty again because in my view the septoplasty was missing and i want to avoid revision surgeries as good as I can, however gonna do a revision for sure in future, probably in Bergamo

In Pre Op consulting I missed their own suggestions, so it was rather like: What do you (the patient) want to get done?
As example i didn't get suggested to fill up my temple's with fat although they're incredibly deep and cause my upper face to appear "pushed in" making me kinda older than I am and seems very masculine. In every other consultation i got it recommended to fill it up either with fat or peek implants.

Facial Team is definitely a great address for FFS although it's pricey and lacks in individualism but they do a very nice and clean job, it's a very natural outcome.
