The doctor was brusque and wasn't truly listening to my concerns regarding my left cheek (he had one extra syringe of my fat, and just decided not to use it.) My upper left cheek is still not filled to the address the asymmetry as compared to the right cheek. When I expressed concerns regarding the hollows of my tear troughs, I felt dismissed. This certainly did not reflect my initial impression of the man. I am now looking into other plastic surgeons to fix that left cheek. Moreover, I inquired about scar reduction from a previous mini facelift, and found Dr. Bednar to be downright discouraging, stating that nothing would ever help the scar, including laser removal. I feel as though my entire procedure left me disappointed. I highly doubt I will be returning.

I am all about the cheeks! In my 20's I received many compliments on my prominent and high cheekbones (I have some Native American heritage on my great grandmother's side.) During my 30's my cheeks held up well, so I simply assumed age couldn't touch them...much. I was wrong. In my early 40's, they began to lose volume and slide down my face, as my infrastructure of fat began to erode. A mini facelift and cheek implants failed to restore the volume and contours I was losing to the aging process. I am scheduled for my surgery next week. I am hopeful that Dr. Bednar can restore my full, youthful cheeks with this procedure! I will post pictures and update following the surgery.

Thank you for posting! I hope you have great results!
After paying him $7000 (3500 each graft session,) I am slightly disappointed.

How unfortunate that these people collect all of our money and then provide substandard work.
