Awful

Please AVOID this clinic and Dr Priya Kesarwani at all costs.

I had fat grafting and endoscopic brow lift with Dr Kesarwani in early June. The biggest disappointment has been the outcome of my fat grafting. Before the surgery, I expressed to the surgeon that I wanted an improvement in the under eye area and that i felt my cheeks were already full (which she agreed with) but was ok with her adding a small amount of fat in my cheeks.
Instead, she a large volume of fat into my cheeks, gave me a substantial cheek augmentation, and now my whole face looks very heavy and puffy and has lost all of its original contour.
I also developed a very visible linear indentation/crater in my left outer thigh at the fat-harvesting site. My right thigh does not have the same appearance. I’m going to have to look into corrective options for this as it hasn’t improved at all and is very visibly obvious and distressing to me.
I am now consulting other surgeons about corrective options. The change in my facial appearance has affected me so much that I have also started THERAPY to help me cope with it. This was not an outcome or degree of change that I understood I was agreeing to before surgery, at all.

On top of all this, her and her team were not at all transparent with the realities of healing from this particular surgery. I looked like a completely different person and extremely swollen until 12 weeks or 3 months post op - something they absolutely did not prepare me for. Had I understood this beforehand, I would not have scheduled the surgery when I did.

There were also several administrative and financial experiences that made me lose trust in the clinic - and that should serve as red flags to any patients considering them.
- First: several months before my originally scheduled surgery, I requested to move my surgery to another future date and agreed to pay their $2,000 rescheduling fee. A few weeks before that new date, however, I was informed that the surgeon would no longer be available. Despite the clinic being unable to provide the date I had paid the rescheduling fee to secure, they initially refused to refund that fee. After numerous emails, I was ultimately refunded only approximately $500 of the $2,000.
- Second: I also considered adding a lower blepharoplasty to my procedures. During my consultation, I was told that the incision could be made either inside the eyelid or underneath it, and I left the consultation believing I would be having an approach without a visible external scar. On the morning of surgery, I learned that this was not what was planned, and was uncomfortable proceeding with the lower blepharoplasty, and declined that portion of the surgery.
The surgeon weirdly became frustrated, stating they were ‘basically short a case’ and ‘had to call in the nurse to come early etc. She also made other unnecessary comments like ‘its not typical for this many changes to be made on the morning of the surgery.’ yes these things were said to or in front of me, verbatim, I remember them very clearly as I was already very nervous just minutes before the procedure. I found those comments quite inappropriate given that I was simply trying to make an informed decision about a procedure I no longer felt comfortable undergoing.
On top of that, the team refused to refund me for the bleph which i paid several thousands of dollars for. After having to fight with them to get anything back they only sent me back like $1000.

Surgeons should never forget the enormous impact they can have on someone’s life, confidence, and sense of self. For a surgeon, it might be one case out of many, but for the person who has to live with the outcome, it can affect them every single day. As a physician myself, I understand that complications and imperfect outcomes can happen but I also understand how important informed consent, clear communication, and compassion are when someone is trusting you with their health and appearance.

I’ll never forget the impact this experience has had on me, and I WOULD NOT recommend this clinic to anyone.
