Facial fat transfer 29 year old

UPDATED FROM inareal

2 Year Update

$3,500
I hate to say that after two years I can only see a small difference to some of my before pictures. I am currently considering a touch up since I am once again unhappy each time I catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror.
The fat transfer seems not to have worked well for me. It seems that the fat never stopped decreasing and that from the beginning only about 50% of the fat stayed after the first 3 to 6 months and it has decreased ever since.
I am unsure if fillers would be the smarter option in my case.

I think your face looks more vibrant than before. Do you notice that your skin got better of time? They say fat has stem cells that rejuvenate the skin
In the first 3 months my skin was radiant and cleared up very nicely and had a very youthful rosy look to it, after that my acne returned. I have changed my birth control since, I think that's most likely what makes the difference.
Ill be honest - it doesnt look like you lost much fat after transfer. You look so much better than your before photo, and you look basically the same at as your 6 month update.
Thank you so much and thank you for keeping me grounded. I just went back to my 6 month result post and have to say it is very similar, I have lost about 4 to 5 pounds in the last 2 months which (puts me at the same weight as I was around my 6 month update). It's most likely what makes me notice a change. Now I do have to say the undereye area has lost volume but I was told from the beginning that the under eye area will not retain fat as well due to aging.
You look way better than before! It totally worked...
I know how you feel. I've had fat transfer as well. The texture of my skin is really refined and smooth but I don't think the fat is growing. I've had some filler injected as well -- for better or worse.
So the far transfer made your skin looking better? When was your surgery?
A fat transfer will STRETCH your skin if you are over the age of 45. DO NOT DO IT.
E V E R. Keep getting fillers, fat transfers will ruin your skin if you are not super young. Get a facelift and neck lift WITHOUT fillers! Have them done months after the surgery.
I haven't had surgery recently. Yes, the fat transfer has improved the texture of my skin. The key, I think, is whether of not the stem cells in the fat proliferate. It will take some time to determine the outcome.

Trying to make sense of this

So I have been recently feeling like I have had a lot of volume loss and started comparing pictures with the same angle and lighting. I came to the realization that there are minimal changes when it comes to the volume. I rather think that now that the fat is less stiff and moves more naturally I see more "wrinkeling".
I think some of the cheekbone definition has subsided when you look at the side of my face. Not sure if I should go for another procedure or if I would head down a never ending plastic surgery spiral.

You look amazing.
I think you look beautiful. But if you are seeking more cheekbone definition, why not consider a microcurrent facial or facial exercises? They both truly work especially to sculpt the face. The plastic surgeons will be naysayers, but that's because it cuts into their business. You cannot truly restore lost volume with either but you don't need it. Another great product that is sold by estheticians is called CAVIPLLA. It contains some of the same ingredients as the filler, Sculptra and creates some more volume in the face. Love it! Best to you!
Thank you I will definitely try that!
After undergoing fat transfer, I’d say don’t do it! I’m 3 weeks out from this procedure and am wishing I’d never done it. My face is uneven, when I smile my cheeks push my eyes up and it looks I have a ball under my cheek! Also my goal was to help with asymmetry and fill in some scars from fraxel damage. My scars are still there and the asymmetry very apparent. I’m wayyy overfilled o one side. Total waste of money plus I’ll have to spend more to fix it.
Judelage, how are you doing now? Has some of the symmetry returned?
Your skin is radiant and you look lovely. I think sometimes after a procedure it's good to take some time away from fixating on "results" because we forget our baseline and want more! I hope you feel it was worth it and just enjoy what you've got. Sadly many people get botched. Best wishes

Current update

I am now six month post op. And according to my doctor these should be the “lasting” results. I have been picture documenting myself and I feel like I have lots volume loss and still consistently loose volume. I have some days where I feel good about it and others more recently where I just do not want to look in the mirror because I feel like I wasted a lot of money on the wrong procedure.

Correction: I meant cheek implants :). At this point I feel like I lost about 75% of the fat.
They really do need to put extra in, so more stays I just did fat grafting to my face yesterday I hope it's a enough of course it's not a bad thing but I didnt have much fat to take. But it is bad if you want more fat in your face .your skin looks nice really smooth
Thank you
You look great to be honest
I think you loo great !
