An Amazing Experience !
WORTH IT
I arrived in South Korea on the 14th, and the same day, I went to see the doctors to come up with a plan for the surgery. I was picked up from the airport by DA services, and I was impressed by the Taxi ride. It was impressive, and it even had internet inside. I was given a hotel paid for by DA, too, for 7 days as part of the package; it was in Downtown Gangman, and the name was Ibis Ambassador. After I checked in, I met Stan, who picked me up from the hotel and took me to DA. He was the English translator and was very nice in explaining the procedures and some of the questions I had in mind.
When I met the doctors, they were very nice, and they seemed to understand and not rush me during the consultation. They explained the procedures and took notes on the results I was looking for as long as they were realistic. They took a 3D scan of my face (for the jaw and cheekbone reduction) and pictures from all over my face, which was a really nice detail since they wanted to make sure there were as many details as possible.
The next day was surgery day, and it was so nice the way DA has their rooms and equipment very organized. I was put to sleep, and then I woke up. I believe 6 hours later, I had my own room where I stayed 12 hours under the care of a nurse, for the 1st 3 hours I was not allowed to drink water. Still, after that, you can stand up and get it (that way, you get to walk for blood flow).
After 12 hours, Stan came and took me to the hotel, where I rested for the next 7 days. After that, I had a meeting with the doctors to see my progress, and they were happy with the results. After 14 days, I saw them again, and they said everything was fine and that the surgery was a success. I was really happy about it.
Overall, my experience with DA was impressive, everything was nice, Stan was always there for me to help me out, assisting me with whatever question I had through WhatsApp or in person, Jay was nice too, the was another assistant like Stan who worked around the floors of DA as an English translator, and Judy too, who was answering questions too. In the future, I will come back to DA for sure if I have any other surgery in mind.
