Not Worth It. Permanent Hyper-pigmentation and Skin Damages

I had concerned on the sagging skin on the lower face around the mouth area in particular so I underwent a Facetite procedure in the lower face and jowl area in hope of tightening the skin in the areas of concerns. The results as follows:1. my face was swollen for 2-3 weeks2. The sagging skin around the mouth was not addressed3. Facial shape changed and asymmetrical due to the melting away of fat in the lower cheek area4. No visible improvement and tightening after the procedure.5. Permanent damages of skin ( I found out later that my skin was burned due to the high heat)6. skin hyperpigmentation.Facetite is a invasive procedure which does not guarantee any improvement. It takes away fat that one needs in the older age if it is in the wrong hands.

Oh no! I had a burn too... :( I don't know if it was worth it.
What did the Dr say afterwards? About the burns, everything?
She said that she did not know what happened. I wished that I knew they were burns earlier so I can address them. I finally figured out they were burns after I burned my arm while cooking and my skin got the same discoloration. She tried different laser to address the hyper-pigmentation but it did not work. I also found asymmetries on my face after the procedure because she did not work on the area after she burned it. I am not sure a human hand can glide through one's face evenly with the heated device. The procedure is definitely not an alternative to a facelift. It can do a lot of damages to one's face.
I agree. My burn ended up having dead tissue (which prevented from healing). So the dr said he would have to cut out the tissue in order to heal. I went ahead with it and it looks like I have a bullet hole underneath my neck. I can only be patient and let for it to heal.. but it has been such a nightmare :( I'm surprised not a lot of ppl post about the burn. It seems to be very common
After reading 40 reviews for this procedure, yours is the one that has clarified that I will not seek this treatment. Thank you so much for posting your experience. The only reason I was looking into it is because masseter (or TMJ) Botox ruined MY face, leaving me with permanent jowls and wrinkly areas under my cheekbones. I was seeking a fix for that. I guess I have learned my lesson and will do NOTHING invasive to my appearance again. I'm so sorry this has happened to you and I hope you realize you are a beautiful woman, from what I can tell by your photos.
