I waited a little too long to have my facelift at age 66

Had my after pictures done at the office today (a little bit too close up for me!). Anyway, I asked Chris (Dr. Henderson's assistant) for copies of the before and after pictures. Some of you asked for newer updates and some wanted close ups of the lip area. Attached are the before pictures of December 2020 and the after pictures are today (January 20, 2022)

I waited a little too long to have my facelift at age 66. I needed a lot of work done. I had droopy eyes, wrinkles above my lips, jowls starting up and a sagging neck. Considering all the work done, I was fortunate not to have a lot of pain. I had a headache for the 1st 2 days due to the staples from the endobrow. After that, there was really no pain. I was fortunate to have a helpful husband. He took care of the cleaning and moisturizing of all my wounds. I couldn't see out of my eyes for 3 days, so needed help for the restroom. After the 4 days, I could do everything for myself except the taking care of staples in my head and the stitches behind my ears.
I really expected to be in a lot of pain for a long time (happily, I wasn't). I am in my 6th week and all the bruising is gone, most of the swelling is gone. I am very happy with the results. No visible scars! Dr. Henderson and her staff were amazing. Dr. Henderson specializes in facial surgeries. I am so happy I chose her to perform my plastic surgery. I look like me, only younger.
