Deep plane facelift
Slipshod Surgery
Slipshod. Surgery January 2024.
My experience with Dr. Johnathan Sykes.
I will need a revision facial surgery due to the unbalanced, unnatural results, under treatment, poor planning, poor surgical techniques performed by Dr. Johnathan Sykes.
The direction of the facelift was backwards and not upwards; which created a flat mid face and deeper ligaments remained unreleased creating a bulging lateral sweep deformity which is made worse on any movement or smiling.
Deformity of tension: earlobe distortion and lengthening (pixie ear); constant discomfort of earlobes being pulled and uncomfortable tension in front and back of ears. Widening scarring in front and back of ears indicates lack of supportive support.
Eyelid revision needed: unbalanced, uneven, keloids, visible scar lines and lack of support for lower eyelid area.
Cobra neck deformity due to inadequate deeper ligament release.
Lip lift revision needed: formation of scar tissue, comfort related issues, nasal widening, nasal pulling downward and deformity made worse on any movement due to poor surgical technique.
I regret the surgery; the expense, time and distress. I will need to wait a year for healing before considering a revision surgery.
What happens to a person who is unable to afford a revision surgery?
A regrettable surgery. A regrettable decision. I would not recommend Dr. Johnathan Sykes.

My revision surgeon was Dr. Jonathan Zelken located in New Port Beach, Ca… Highly positive experience…Both surgeries combined by Dr. Zelken was over thirteen hours…My results are natural looking…I am thankful and blessed to have had Dr. Zelken as my surgeon.

My revision surgery will address and correct my mid face, neck and lip lift. I will leave my eyebrows and eyelids as is. “Less is More”.
