Terrible Results

Let me preface this review by saying I waited 9months post op before leaving it to give a reasonable time for healing and final results to show. I can now safely say that the outcome is awful. I had spent years contemplating surgery and chose this surgeon at the time as his reviews were excellent. I had a temporal lift upper and lower blepharoplasty and rhinoplasty. I only met with the surgeon the morning of my surgery which should have been the first red flag. When I came round from the surgery I spent what felt like a lifetime convulsing on the bed from the wearing off of the anaesthetic. It was a horrible feeling, I have had general anaesthetic a few times before and have never come round with this happening. I had asked the surgeon for only a small change to the tip of my nose and had specified that I didn’t want it to be upturned. I knew from the moment that I looked in the mirror post op that my nose was over rotated.
I stayed in Turkey for 1 wk after surgery and then flew home, this was only the beginning of the healing process. What surprised me when I got back was the lack of communication or follow up from Dr Celiks team. In the weeks after the surgery I had a dent in my cheek which eventually went away but caused me a lot of distress, along with the nose shape. As the weeks passed one side of my face began to heal well while the other side did not. I feel constant pain and discomfort on one side of my face. I cannot open my eye properly and still have swelling on one side of my face. I have spent the last 9 months praying that the outcome would be better but know that what I see know is what I am left with. It is truly devastating to have spent all that time and money hoping to look like the best version of myself to be left with a misshapen unnatural looking face. I had hoped this surgery would give me a new lease of life instead I have spent every day for the last nine months in a living hell. At this point I just want the pain and discomfort to stop so I can move on with my life.
