"feathering complete"
WORTH IT
Final touchup today. The protocol was followed to a tee! Everyone had either a mask or a full face shield on.
I wore a mask and was given a new pen to sign the virus info sheet. My lower face was given a numbing cream and after 20 minutes and the procedure was complete. Not as deep....just enough to smooth the edges. I can't compliment the Doctor and his staff enough. They work together like a well oiled machine. It is obvious they love what they do and I can't help but be thankful that I found them. Everyone is kind, welcoming and professional.
I go back in September for a final look see and pictures. My scars a minimal and becoming invisible. I mentioned to Dr. Maloney about the swelling going down because it looks so good and very natural. No wind blown tightness. He said;" It's down." Yippe, I'm jumping for joy...I feel and look like a kid again (smile). At 73 I'm lovin' it!

Thank you for your response! Will you be showing a "current" set of pics now - an update of sorts? Anxious to see as I"m sure others are too.
Yep.....photos are coming when my hair looks better and my roots are matching the ends!
You look wonderful. Can I ask what type of laser was used?
You give me hope for mind coming in June or July. I am also having a scope in my forehead to eliminate wrinkles in the forehead.
Are you speaking of endoscopic? That's what I will have, but I will have to ask about the hair loss since I have a thyroid issue and have lost a lot of my hair already.
So glad you had this today. The world is finally beginning to open.

Thankful for this site. It helped in making my decision. Cost plus recent photos.
My surgery was completed on March 3,2020. The total cost/$11,150 and it took about three and one/half hours. I'm thrilled! I hope these photos help someone else make a decision if they are considering doing the same thing.. With Dr. Maloney you can't go wrong.....he's the best! My laser edges will be feathered out after several weeks.
The photos may not be in order....in fact, they probably are pretty random.

Can't wait to see your final results - hang in there - the results are well worth it. I am apx 10 months out from my surgery and couldn't be happier. Seems like every day after day 10 you heal quicker. Keep posting :)
Thanks for the encouragement. You're right, it is looking better each day. The laser area is still really pink, but, I know that can take months. My neck is still somewhat numb on the upper sides and behind my earlobes it's sensitive, but , other than that....I feel like a new woman! Ahhhhhh, the pleasures of knocking off a few years off my face and neck, especially @ 73!
Will the laser be "feathered out" by your surgeon or by itself? Best wishes!
It will be feathered with a less powerful laser in his office. I’ve got an appointment April 9 but, I’m not sure if it’s still going to happen then or, if it will be postponed, The laser around my mouth looks good, but, he is a

Why the stitches under your chin? Just wondering. Thanks
It was to remove excess skin and muscle tightening.
I see. Glad you are loving it. I believe you will love it even more when you are totally healed. Best wishes

My lower face, neck surgery and laser was last Tuesday with local anesthetic. There was some discomfort from the injections but, far less painful than my dental ones thanks to Dr. Maloney’s gentle hand. Being completely awake and having good conversations made the time fly by. I felt very comfortable and at ease. Recovery has been quite easy and any discomfort was eased by taking pain meds. I am over the moon thrilled with my results. I will post pictures after my stitches are removed. Dr. Maloney is a true artist and a master surgeon......he is very humble and a wonderful human being.

Congratulations on your results! Would you be willing to post some before and after photos?
It’s too bad that he is in Arizona, l am in Austin and we are dealing with the corona nightmare!
What bad timing! But glad it's over for you. Can't wait to see more pics as you recover. Stay well!
Thanks, I'm laying low for sure. At least now if I do go out, we're not restricted (yet) I can wear a mask covering the laser...maybe no one will notice! That and a big hat/with scarf around my neck and presto....completely incognito! I'll post recovery pics when I look a tad more normal and touch up my roots (smile).
Ha! Great timing for a mask. Look forward to seeing the new you!
Great sense of humor, compliments!

It also helped soften the lines below my cheek bones (actually I don't even see them anymore) and smoothed my jowel and chin area. I felt since I was doing this lower lift I might as well go for it!! I'm glad that I did especially since I can cover it up with a mask!
Using sun block is a must anyway, but, now it's even more important to prevent sun damage. I was a product of the lay in the sun til you bake generation. Baby oil was my go to!
It's wonderful that the younger generation is more savy and uses spray tanning instead.
