I live in Washington, DC, and when I turned 61, I went to Franklin, Tennessee, to see Dr. Ramin Behman for a facelift. Twenty years earlier, when I was 40 years old, he'd done my eyes. At that time, he practiced in Northern California, where I lived. I had been told he was talented by a surgeon I trusted. I loved the results and healed quickly without any complications.
Recently, at age 60, I decided I wanted a facelift, but I was pretty nervous about it. The safety part worried me, and I was concerned about looking natural without looking like my skin had been stretched and tugged. I was also worried about a mistake being made, because how could I live with looking odd, and I didn’t want to have to undergo any revisions. Since I couldn’t find Dr. Behman in California, I searched all over the country for him and found that he had relocated his practice to Franklin, Tennessee. I visited him there for a consult and was delighted to find him flourishing while opening his new practice. He remembered me immediately.
A few weeks later, I returned to see him for the following procedures: eyes again (upper and lower lids), eyebrow lift, turkey neck, and my cheeks - he did a fat transfer to them. Once again, and as hoped, I healed very quickly, with no complications. I cannot express how happy I am with the results. I cannot see any scars, and my nerves in my face feel totally normal. I feel like I look “like myself” again - just my younger self. My face and neck look entirely natural to me, and 6 weeks later, friends, family, and acquaintances tell me I look great. They often ask if I’ve been on vacation or am well rested. No one has guessed that I had any work done on my face at all.
I love Dr. Behman. Not only is he an expert plastic surgeon, but he’s kind and easy to talk to - also incredibly empathetic. Conversing with him is delightful and reassuring. If I ever need anything else done, I will return to him. I recommend him enthusiastically and without reservation. Really, I hope more people visit his practice so that his new location is successful - you will be thrilled if you are one of them.
