4 Months Post - Surgery was Oct 5th

So I haven't been to my doctor since one month post op. I think everything is going great. Scars are still healing but looking good and because the doctor brought the hair through the scars they will eventually be invisible. Nobody I know can see them now although I don't wear my hair up around people yet. The problem I foresee is my thinning hair that won't be enough o cover the scars behind my ears but time will tell. I've had some horrible scars from other doctors that performed surgery for health issues and they eventually healed nicely so I imagine these that have always looked so much better will end up pretty great. I still have some slight numbness on my upper cheekbones just below the temple. I also have spent the winter in our cabin up north. Super snowy and I've notices that my ears get super cold so I'm thinking circulation hasn't returned to normal.

3 Months

Posting 2 weeks late but these are my 3 month photos. Redness is getting better. And the scars at the temples are almost invisible. My doctor made it so the hair grows through the temple scars so you can’t see them. I love it and so does my husband. The best part is having confidence again and not shying away from family pictures. As I said before month 2 doesn’t look as youthful as month one (that month looked ridiculously young) and now month three doesn’t look quite as youthful as month 2. Hoping that trend stops because I’m happy right now. My doctor includes fillers that I’ll get at my upcoming appointment. I need that under my eyes. It seems like that area looks a little worse since the lift; I’ve heard other women say the same thing. Anyway, it’s all good because I’ve dropped at least 10 years off my face. It’s the best thing I’ve ever done for myself. All thumbs up!
